Here would be the reason for all of those Nedomlel penalty minutes. Don't know what happened earlier in the game but looks like Swift Current was just trying to get whoever after getting their butts kicked. Wonder if he will get suspended, don't know rules on that but he started another fight while one was already underway and in the last two minutes of a blowout.

Feels like I am watching a Brian Burke prospect or something. Now if something dirty happened earlier fine the penalties in the box scores sort of suggest a chippy game, I just hope he didn't get himself suspended to do this because that would be dumb.

I have been wondering about that as well. Stats aren't looking good but maybe he has a good 2nd half like last season.

Sproul with the instigator, interesting. Frk is on a ridiculous tear and Im not surprised by Nedomlel but I'm sure that game was rough all around hes gotta do that every now and again its his role

Frks goal starts at the :50 second mark, Id watch the start too though Drouin has some slick moves. Frks been playing a lot better since his slow start, that line is fun to watch. Frk already has a pro shot, its lethal on the powerplay especially where he plays the point.

Jarnkrok and his team were shut out. -2.
Backman team high 22:22 TOI, 1 A, +1. Won 3-1. I've noticed his shot totals have gone way up lately, should be able to pot one soon enough. 4 shots today.

Pulkkinen helped Jokerit come back from being two goals down after the first period in Pori against Ässät by scoring a rebound goal to make it 2-1. Jokerit went quickly into a 3-2 lead but ended up losing 4-3 after the shootout(no surprises there, no Jokerit player scored).

Good to see Backman shoot the puck, hopefully he can continue to get power play ice time.

Hudon with nothing.
Paterson had day off, their team won 10-3.
Sproul with a pp goal, they lost 1-2.
Quine scored but was -3.
Nedolmel 0+1, +1.

Gotta give Sproul some credit: he is just a goalscoring machine at the OHL level.

He seems to be.

But sadly to both nets; he's on ice for a lots of goals. Kid gets 3 points a game and is still like -2 or -3?

He'll need couple of years at Griffins and/or good defensive player to play with.

Its kind of fun to think sproul and ouellet could be d partners someday.

The hope is they compliment each other well and develop chemistry as they progress like those two yahoos nashville drafted in 03

I want to say I read somewhere that his favorite player is Mike Green. It seems fitting, I suppose. Huge shot, defensive liability.

Always a place for those prospects too! I'd be stoked to get a 6'3", supersmooth 20 goal scorer on the back end. Just find the right partner.

Frk with no points and four minor penalties.. Sounds like he was benched in the 3rd with the game on the line. Understandable, I guess.

Yeah, he can always improve his defensive game or pair him with a defensive dman. You can't teach his offensive skill. He projects to be a dominant force on the PP.

Ouellet and sproul should be a quality AHL pairing. Lets Hope they are even more than that.

I hope that being injury prone does not also come from Green...

But Sproul is +2 so far in the season. Doesn't look bad anyhow. Team high was three forwards at +9.

13 games 5+12=17, +2.

He mainly gets his points on the PP, so he won't be getting very much plusses at even strentgh. That's a good sign, he is not getting minuses either.

Hudon scored, against Halifax. Halifax won 3-2, Frk already mentioned. Hope he gets back on track soon and this was an anomaly.

Ouellet didn't play.

Paterson 27/30 in a shootout loss.

BTW, Sproul is listed 6'4/200lbs at OHL website. Has he grown also an inch like Ouellet to 6'1?

Not a wing prospect yet, but I think Emil Djuse might be picked in the next draft with a Håkan-pick (Håkan has already scouted him when he played for Östersund numerous times). He just got selected for the swedish World Junior squad and will most likely have a top-4 role there. He went undrafted last year when he first became eligible (born late 93).

I wasn't that impressed when I first watched him a few years ago, but he must have exploded in terms of developement, he's already playing on a good team in the swedish 2nd tier Allsvenskan.

I had Djuse on my watch list last season just because of his stats. He played on the same team as Bodin, I wonder if Djuse was even considered with that 7th round pick?

Looks like Nedomlel isn't going to be at the WJC. I think this is the roster: http://www.eliteprospects.com/team.php?team=1601 I'm a bit disappointed. Frk is there of course.

Just found out Canada will play a couple of games in Finland before going to Russia for the WJC. I'll have to go check out Ouellet if/when he makes the team.

OHL stats aren't very reliable. Take them with grain of salt.

Draft combine results can be an inch or even two less.

Sproul is a prospect that I would bet on growing an inch, same with Aubry. They both hits growth spurts out of the blue not long before the draft. And if hes listed at 6'4, even if hes 6'3 its all relative. Hes still most likely an inch taller than whoever is listed at 6'3 right now
