San Jose are the true league champions, LA won a cup competition.
There are approximately 3 people in the continental U.S. who agree with you.
Supporters Shield, by MLS rules, is not the league champion. Just because it is the same sport doesn't mean the U.S. needs to follow world influence. Otherwise the schedule we run on would disqualify us as a league completely.
In fact, when listed their order of preference in trophies, teams, coaches, and players picked SS 4th behind MLS cup, CCL title, and U.S. Open Cup.
Roy Miller is quickly replacing Rafa Marquez as this year's whipping boy. What a bunch of bonehead moves last night. I better not see him with a jersey on his back on Saturday.
I'm kind of new to international soccer, but have picked up Tottenham as my team. My cousins are from the area and have really gotten me interested in them. I gotta say, I played for 11 years and could never get into professional soccer until I saw it internationally. I'm hooked

This is all you need to see... Nevermind giving up the first goal, or even the blatant volleyball style handball to give up the penalty in the first place. Or the other horrible plays that we were fortunate enough in that they didn't result in goals.
Miller was always worse than Rafa. Rafa at least got injured and didn't play. And occasionally he played well.
Miller has always sucked...
Oh yeah, no doubt Miller has always sucked. But everyone was busy complaining about Rafa because he made the big money. Now that Rafa's gone, Miller can be front and center. Hopefully Petke is smart and glues his ass to a chair in the locker room on Saturday.
Howard is hurt. Guess the US will play no part in the 2014 world cup then
I don't understand why people keep saying that. Guzan has been really good for AV in the Premiership. We should take Costa Rica with him playing to even an average level. The game in Mexico City was going to be a loss anyway.
Losing Timmy for those two games sucks but is hardly the end of the world.
