At least it's not too late for Harbaugh to go back to Alex Smith if he's not too stubborn, but boy that looks like a huge mistake now. The offense hasn't been very good the two weeks since Kapernick got in there for good (17 and 13 points, against eh defensive teams at best). You can't put a kid in mid-stream of a huge playoff run.

Well take away that bs call and 49ers win in regulation. lol However, you are right but I rather Smith take his time then get rush back even if he was cleared. What he lost 1 in OT? Thats not bad in my book ..................

All goes back to normal for sure next week though.

I know it doesn't work this way, but if you were actually voting for the MVP as opposed to the best player, which is pretty much what MVP has become, Andrew Luck would be one of the top 5 favorites. Take him off this Colts team and they have 1 win tops right now.

The stuff he's doing as a rookie is unreal. Five game winning drives, and if the defense doesn't blow it against Jacksonville, he'd have 6. In his first 12 games as a rookie. He's a special talent.

I'm having trouble thinking of 4 defensive players who are for sure ahead of him...I mean he's up there for defensive player of the year for sure. Wilfork and Watt have both had good seasons, but neither is for sure ahead of him. Kuechly has also been very good, but I doubt they give serious award consideration to a rookie on a terrible team. Idk I'd say Smith or Watt have the best shot at MVP among defensive players.

That said, Brady, Manning, RG3, Luck, Peterson, Martin, Foster and Ryan all rank higher on the MVP list than either of them do for me
