Rodier isn't a top 6 guy on a team like Nepean. Hedges, Neil, Norris, Nasca, Johnson, Herlihy, Johnston, Watt and Yarwood are all more skilled than him. No hunch against the kid, because he is (according to 90% of the players) the most feared player to play against in this league. Every team needs a kid like him.

Rodier is a tough kid that has good hands. His footspeed will prevent him from playing top 6,a good player to stick in front of the net on PP.
How did the SF Bears look tonight in Pembroke with the new faces in the lineup?
They looked real fast, great team speed. I was a bit surprised with Butler as I thought he made some smart plays and I did not know what to expect from him. Byron looked good but was a bit shy physically and Lussier made some nice plays but looked a bit lost at times. Martin was steady in net and made it look easy

Before I get to the Bears news, sources tell me Nepean wanted Rodier last season but Kanata was asking for too much. In my opinion this is a good acquisition for the Nepean Raiders. They now have a "tough guy" plays with lots of emotion and adds some grit to their lineup.
Going back to the Bears news... Adding NHL prospect Byron to the mix and 6'3 OFD Lussier the Bears are making it clear that they are in the runs for qualifying in the Fred Page Cup.
Head coad Mark Grady has a lot to look forward to with this young offensive minded group. Also rumour has it the Bears might be getting back McNamee who played for the club several years ago and Lesway who they also required his right yesterday afternoon.
With forwards Buonincontri, Marchand out of the line-up with injuries right now you can only imagine how scary this line-up would be. In my opinion this is how the line-up would look like if everyone was healthy and ready to play..
Suprised Cornwall hasn't been part of anything yet, they could use a dman or 2, or even a solid depth player for that matter.
I heard from a very good source that nobody wants to deal with Cornwall. The Colts have been trying to land a d-man but nobody wants to listen (hence going outside the league and landed Suvak who is a dissapointement)
Was told that Ian handed a list of 10 players available to make a deal happen with Kemptville for Lussier but that the 73's didn't even bother to look.

Kemptville got a real good group of good young hockey players in the past week in Blais, Seatter, Allard and Crampton plus Galasso. To me Galasso is a big part of it and SF did not have to take him out of their lineup. I doubt the Colts could have done the same thing. Personally I think it sets Kemptville up well for the future. Every player they took has quite a bit of league experience. It does not look like they took any prospects or draft picks, just roster player, I like the way it was done.

Wow....
Could this affect players wanting to stay in pembroke under a new coach ?
Does this ever hurt the kings, hopefully they can hold it together under a new coach
it may be a new coach but the guy replacing him has been with them for more than 4 years and has filled in several time over than last couple of years, its not sk but it not the end of the world
