I'd make that deal in a second as of today.RNH-Seguin down the middle looks much better.

I definitely would not trade Hall for Seguin. He's the future captain of the Oilers.
It's hard to say that we're truly happy with Hall when he's always injured.

This. And I see Boston happily taking Hall to stack up at wing. Both teams are better for it.

Hall-Krejci-Horton
Lucic-Belanger-Marchand
Pouliot-Kelly-Peverley
Paille-Campbell-Caron

(Gagner for physical 20/20 winger)-RNH-Eberle
Smyth/Paajarvi-Seguin-Yakupov
Hartikainen/Smyth-Horcoff-Hemsky
Jones-Belanger-Petrell

Not a chance. Hall will be captain within the next year or two. Hall is better right now anyway.

No way would I do the trade. Seguin's attitude stinks and I love Hall's attitude. Too much chemistry developed between the guys; Hall, Eberle, RNH, Hemsky and J. Schultz and soon with Yakupov.

It's so funny in that Oilerfans will say:

Taylor Hall is better

Boston Bruins fans will say:

Tyler Seguin is better

You really need to have a fan from another team give their input into whom they think is better, because both Oilerfans and Boston Bruins fans are too biased.

As a Rangers/Wild fan, I'd take Seguin right now. He has the much better history and an non-skated over face. I'll take a healthy Seguin who puts up almost a PPG at 19 but has attitude problems over an injured Hall who misses half a season every year.

Do you know how Hall has been injured?

When did Seguin almost put up PPG numbers?

It doesn't really matter since Taylor Hall is injury prone.

The fact of the matter is, the Oilers are a better team with Hall then they would be with Seguin. You win championships with teams led by players like hall.

The 2012 NHL Entry draft was a blessing for the Oilers. We picked up an insurance player in Yakupov whom may replace Taylor Hall if he has a short career.

Lots of people base their entire opinion of Seguin on what they saw in his first 15 games last year.

If Hall had one of his hot streaks at the start of the season and Seguin's was hidden in the middle of his season, people would have totally different opinions of them.

As a fan of neither team (and a huge hater of Boston) i would take Seguin over Hall. Seguin is a natural centerman which holds more value than a winger (of similar productivity level). Also Hall has shown to be injury prone.

Halls missed 18 games on injuries resulting from playing hockey I'm not too worried about his career.

That's ridiculous and borderline idiotic. The opinion is based on the sum total of their performance last season and not a snap shot.

I don't quite follow. Hall's injuries are hockey related... so what? Skates with his head down alot and gets hit hard along the boards. To me his game lends towards injuries.

His constant play of going up the ice with his head down screams of a short career.

Taylor Hall=Eric Lindros 2.0

I'm saying his injury issues are overblown he's missed 37 games in his career but 17 were from twisting his ankle while falling at the end of a fight and 2 were from getting his face stepped on in warmup. Over half of his missed games were freak accidents that did not occur on hockey plays.

The Oilers already have an extremely talented but not overly physical RW sniper in Eberle. Hall is more of a game breaker because of his speed, Seguin as our 2C would be great, however if not for Hall coming off of a shoulder injury we might have been seeing him at C right now. If RNH goes to the WJC's we could still see that happen.

He's had concussion issues and shoulder problems. How is that freak accidents? To me he puts himself in danger the way he plays with his head down.

Taylor Hall arm injury-Shoulder surgery. check
Twisting ankle-missing games.check
Having your face stomped on-missing more games.Check

Whether you would care to admit it or not Messier 2,Taylor Hall is injury prone.

Are you legitimately trying to argue that twisting your ankle falling in a fight and getting your face stepped on are not freak accidents? That's over half his missed games. Yes he's had some injury problems but their grossly exaggerated.
