TCU made it a close game but Oklahoma held on. Pretty good game.

I think the WR was Coleman. He make the right read because he was wide open when he cut. CB was 10 yards off of him.

Plus, Nova should know the situation. It's 1st down at the 50 with a minute left and a timeout, down 3. There's plenty of time but the defense is going to be playing either cover 3 or cover 4. It's a very basic read in a very crucial moment. That play is all on Nova.

The only way the throw isn't on Nova is if the playcall was purely a streak (no option) and Coleman ran the wrong route. And if that's the case, the play call is on Nova. A streak isn't what you want in that situation at all.
He was only wide open because the CB was looking at Nova and saw where he through it. I bet that if Coleman had run straight like Nova wanted, he could've easily caught that ball, especially if he had done a fake or something along the throw.

The cornerback may have been playing cover three, but he was right next to Coleman when he cut, it wasn't like he was five or six yards off. In that case, Coleman probably could've cut up the field and gotten that ball.

Georgia didn't really mess up the clock. Whether they spiked or not, they had two throws to the endzone. First one was a 1v1 fade route. Receiver looked like he had position. got tipped. Second receiver should have dropped it intentionally but that's hard to do instinctively.

Just bad luck.

So it's either a trip to California for the Holiday Bowl or a Backyard Brawl in the Bronx for WVU. The Holiday Bowl in San Diego would be awesome as being a band member means I'd be going to that game/location for free, but the Pinstripe Bowl would be cool for the Pitt matchup and it being a game my family could possibly make too.

...or it could be WVU playing Syracuse in the Pinstripe Bowl. Honestly, this is good for the WVU fans regardless of how much they'll ***** and complain. Much cheaper to go to this game than to fly across the country to California.

As opposed to San Diego, which is outside of most Mountaineers' areas. My only gripe with it is that they didn't pick Pitt to be the Big East team. Who wouldn't love a Bronx Brawl? The rivalry with Syracuse just isn't what it was in the past.

My brother and I might go to the game. He was pissed when I told him Syracuse was the opponent.

lol everybody was. Oh well. I guess playing in Yankee Stadium will be kinda cool.

On another note, it's total crap that Oklahoma got snubbed for the at-large BCS bid by Northern Illinois, who also happened to lose to Iowa this season. And Louisville's gonna get rocked by Florida in the Sugar Bowl.

Rutgers usually wins their bowl games. I might tune in but I don't particularly care at this point. Louisville was too deflating for me to want to watch Rutgers anymore this year.

I saw one WVU forum where people didn't like it because of the cost of Hotels in the Metro area inbetween Christmas and New Years Eve...they aren't that bad.

It's better than trying to book flights to California during the holiday season in addition to getting hotels.

I'm gonna be lost once college football season is over since there's still no Devils hockey to watch through to the springtime.

Doesn't wanna go? Yea it isn't the BCS bowl we were all hoping for, but it's still a bowl game, and the last one that Tavon Austin and Geno Smith (and possibly Stedman Bailey) will be playing in WVU uniforms. Cold weather be damned! I'm excited.

They should stay in Jersey and take the train to NY.
Newark has 3 hotels (much cheaper than NY hotel $) in short walking distance to Newark Penn Station.
They can take a 15 minute train ride to NY Penn, then take the subway to The Bronx.

I'm a bit surprised that Savon Huggins hasn't transferred out of Rutgers. What a bust he has been so far.
