So the Bears win over 8-4 Colts didn't happen?

Same Colts team that beat that Packers

Also Jeffrey is not a bad WR ,, When playing this year he has shown tremendous talent

You really think that is the same Colts team? Luck's 1st ever game. Pleassse. If that's the game you want to prove this is a playoff contender, more power to you.

Kind of funny how things work, really. Minnesota isn't a quality opponent, Indianapolis isn't a quality opponent. No, of course not. But if they'd beaten the Bears, we'd all be saying "whine whine whine the Bears are 0-6 against quality competition."

Possibly but it's a small sample size. The small sample size you used to declare TO garbage.

He has been injured more than he has played.

The Colts weren't a quality team week 1, but week 2 when they beat a solid Vikings team they were.

And the solid Vikings team isn't solid either.

When you look at teams that I would consider have a legitimate chance to go all the way. San Fran, Green Bay, Houston

I don't put Indy in that category. I don't see Seattle as well because they are going to lose their corners.

Let's put it this way. The Bears have won against 1 opponent, Indy in Week 1 with a winning record. They have lost to 3 of the teams that they will likely meet up with in the playoffs. The Bears will likely be on the road in the playoffs.

Last year Superbowl champion Giants

Wins against playoff teams:
1. Patriots (23-20)
Losses against playoff teams:
1. 49ers (20-27)
2. Saints (24-49)
3. Packers (35-38)

So they barely played any playoff teams and only made it in as a wild card...almost missing the playoffs.

Just get in. We have the capability of beating anyone... no team is that great. The undefeated Falcons almost lose every game and against bad teams.

What teams deserve to be more confident than the Bears? The 49ers just lost to the Rams who blow and now the 9ers have a QB controversy that could ruin their season. Texans basically lost to the Jaguars after beating us. I'd say like 10 teams have a chance to win the SB and the Bears are definitely one of them.

The Bears still lack talent. WR's - we have one. TE - we got none. O-Line - played very well today but it's suspect. Defense - aging.

I really think many of the Bears problems were masked by the defense scoring so much previously. You notice it is a much different game when they don't. It's almost like if they don't get a TO, they are going to give up an 80 yard drive.

McClellin was awful on that tackle attempt on final regulation drive by Seahawks

He was awful most of day ,, he made one good play today

Total waste of 1st round pick... Looking back on it passing up on Wright could be haunting as well

Marshall + Wright + Jeffrey + Bennett would have been hell of a WR group

You mean the 49ers team that hasn't beat the Rams twice and the Packers team with 1 good win (assuming the Bears aren't a good team)

Okay, then the Bears are 1-4 against good teams.

What an improvement!

I've got high hopes for this team and honestly do believe that when we play our best, our Bears can hang with anyone in the NFL. That being said, inconsistency is a big issue, offense often looks anemic, and when the Bears D doesn't play near-legendarily well, they have trouble beating against even meh teams.

I still think that we're a playoff team and, as in the NHL, once you're in anything can happen..... but, that being said, if I had to bet money on a couple teams to go the distance in the NFL, the Bears would not be one of the teams I bet on.

What's the Packers record? How about the 49ers?

Wow ,, NFL fines are getting out of hand

Urlacher now faces a $31,500 fine for a second offense of horse collar

Both were incidental and light (No pulling of guy straight backwards)

Anyone know why Dj Moore was inactive today?

Could have used his speed at nickle coming off edges to try and contain Wilson

Considering Lovie was big reason he was drafed and been our starting Nickle most of last few years I highly doubt Lovie doesn't like him

I'm not worried about the Cowboys, Romo will find a way to blow their chances and miss out on the playoffs.

If the Bears can't pull off two victories in these last four weeks they don't deserve to be in the dance. They hold destiny in their own hands.
