how many NHLers are there of polish descent?
I have found some surnames seem to be polish:
James Wisniewski
Andy Wozniewski
Joel Kwiatkowski
Jeff Woywitka
Wojtek Wolski

anyone else?

Mariusz Czerkawski and Krystof Oliwa were both Polish nationals and played in the NHL. I can't think of anymore though.

These are players born in Poland. As far as players of Polish descent, I'm sure there's quite a few. Isn't Gretzky part Polish? I know Tavares is as well.

Macedonian surmanes, majority of them, also ends with -ski, like Jovanovski. Pavelski is much closer to being Macedonian, than Polish

Pavelski is Polish. In fact, Wikipedia states Pavelski is born to Polish parents... But I wasn't right about Jovanovski. He's of Macedonian descent.

I don't know if Wisniewski knows he's Polish or not (his name is Polish), but is butchered in English. Should be pronounced, Ves-neea-f-ski.

I had the opportunity to meet Oliwa. He is a great guy. He has private lessons with my younger brother. Im Polish so its great to see a hard hitting polish player teaching my little brother how to hit haha.

yeah, Wisniewski has descent but isnt polish speaking. Only guy I can think of that plays right now is Wolski, underrated at the caps.

Aren't there a bunch of prospects who can fit this criteria? Warsofsky, Weircioch, Welinski, Grzelcyk, Yakubowski, Jankowski, Werenski.
