I loved the Demo, I think this is my favorite game since 03 (when I feel in love with nhl games)

I think there should be an option to bring back slowmotion breakaways.

I'm very impressed with the demo. At first I was mildly annoyed by how it was slowed down, but it allows for so much more creativity on the fly. Hitting seems a little lacking now, but I'm sure you just have to get into the swing of things like always.

He is 87 in the demo but it looks like most players aren't rated the same in the demo as had been released.

The announcers are the same. They did add a lot of new commentary though. Personally I turn the announcers off as I find it more authentic playing (especially in BAP mode) The goalies are vastly improved and the game is a lot more defensive which is a big win for me. You have to set up a play to score now.

It makes a lot more sense now that we get the full spread. Pretty much everyone (except the Canucks) took a hit ratings wise across the board.

There definetly is a slight vancouver bias. For example in GM mode, gaunce gets an 80 rating after 1 year of simming! Gaunce! At best a future third line scorer!

I simmed a season. flames finished in 26th and.got first overall and took mackinnon.
bartschi went up to 82 after first season and reinhart got to an 81.

stil disappointed no jankowski or gaudreau...
on a brighter note i moved backlundd for galchenyuk (montreal offered straight up) and joe morrow for butler and a pick.

He is on the Czech National Team like last year.

You can just trade him over before starting Be a GM. That's what I did anyways..
Mind you he is only rated a 69...I had to edit that as well.

the best rated nhl game was actually nhl 2004.

what i notice is if a guy gets 8 goals out of 10 shots he'll be rated 80 in shooting, even though he might of scored 8 goals in an 82 game schedule. and if i guy has speed in skating he's a good player in the game you know, doesn't matter if his shot will be low.. i always seem to play good with Tim connelly the last few years for some odd reason.

NHL 2004 in general was the best. I have it for PC, and just apply an updated mod to it each year. Best soundtrack too

This is the correct answer. The gametype systems in that year were perfect.

I've really gotten bored of NHL13. Online play is unplayable and the CPU cheats on you every game. I really need to get back into a sim league, or wait until Franchise Hockey Manager comes out.

JFC released GM Hockey Legacy which isn't a bad replacement for NHLEM.

How the heck do you sim games that fast? It takes like 2-3 mins just to sim a game for me and goto the next game. The engine is slow as hell.

My GM mode is on 2020, and I hardly play it. My be a pro is in year 2019 as well

I don't think I even play that much. Simming takes about....15-20 seconds a game for me on Xbox. You're on Playstation?
