i guess gazley being called up is a good reward for his play and shows the echl guys hard work pays off.
not exactly sure what the situation is though that leads to the call up.

prediction: zibby scores tonight.

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The Binghamton Senators announced today that defenseman Chris Wideman has been reassigned from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL to Binghamton by the club’s National Hockey League affiliate Ottawa Senators.

Wideman, 22, was reassigned to Elmira from Binghamton yesterday and registered one assist in the Jackals' 4-2 loss to the Wheeling Nailers. He now has five assists in five games with the Jackals this season.

The 5-10, 170-pound defenseman has appeared in six games with the B-Sens this season, recording no points.

Also today, the Binghamton Senators announced that they have reassigned forward Dustin Gazley to Elmira.

Gazley, 24,was recalled from his loan to Elmira by Binghamton yesterday but did not play in the B-Sens' 7-4 win over the Adirondack Phantoms.

The 5-8, 155-pound forward currently leads the Jackals in points with 19 (six goals, 13 assists) in 16 games.

The Jackals see action again tonight as they visit the Trenton Titans at 7:05 p.m.

I heard a rumor at last nights B-Sens game that Lehner hurt/cut himself going through a window. I have no way of substantiating this claim, just a pure rumor. Anyone have any information on why Lehner was a scratch yesterday?

Ski said the rumour going around the rink last night was exactly what you said.

No one here knows for sure. I don't think.

Better to be scratched for a cut than cut for a scratch.

I think the Sens organization should invest in a laceration wound care specialist for their goalies...
