This St.John's announcer is a full-fledged moron. Just minutes after looking like a fool for going on about the "gift" assists on Ferriero's goal, he starts yammering again about the "gift" assist on Holzapfel's.
Holzapfel has really turned his game around since his bad start.
I'm not saying that because of the goal, just his overall play lately.
Yeah he has. I guess he's finally adjusted to the system. He's racked up assists and goals playing with Bennett. Apparently they compliment each other pretty well.

Shut the **** up. Some people never learn.
Minor league announcers are almost universally terrible, so I'm not that surprised.
I'm somewhat surprised that there are guys so obnoxious that they make Tom Grace seem pleasant to listen to. At least he's complimentary of the other team, and when they catch him and O'Brien talking during a radio break they seem to be into the game and not just *****ing about everything.

Great article that covers a wider scope than just Farnham. I expect to see a plagiarized version of it on tsn.com whenever the next nhl season occurs. Brought me back a few years to the Matthew Barnaby days.
Good to see Bennett getting comfortable / starting to produce some nice goals and assists. That goal game before last that was posted here was pretty twisted. Unbelievable hands on that shot. Hopefully he keeps developing and gets a bit stronger. If his hands stay that good I could see Crosby racking up an extra 25A per season no problem.

It is nice to see him start to be productive (and against NHL-ish defenders). IMO, he has to work on his skating above everything else. If he can put a decent set of wheels below him, he should reach his top 6 potential. To me, this is his biggest weakness in his game.
I am not saying that BB is our best prospect, but he certainly is our most important one considering our situation on the wings. He is still a rookie in AHL and started a bit slowly, but he is better and better with every game. Points keep on coming for him and that´s great to see, especially in a bit defensive-minded team like WBS. He could easily have over 1.00 PPG in more talented AHL offenses, but OK. At least he has that solid chemistry with Holzapfel lately. Beau is already better than Tangradi, and I see BB as a very probable option for our top6 into 2013/2014 season. We need him badly, and I think he´ll make us satisfied.

Penguins farmhand Jeff Zatkoff named AHL goalie of month for November after going 8-1 with 3 SO, 1.21 GAA and .955 save pct. in nine games.

Interesting but makes sense on a certain level given where he's coming from.

Got to give the coaching staff in WBS a lot of credit in turning their rough start around. I don't know how much longer John Hynes is going to stick around. They have a lot of youngsters that are making major contributions. Other NHL teams must be taking notice.

I agree with this. Hynes looks like he might turn into a real hot commodity here in the next season or two. I seem to remember his name being mentioned for the job in Washington which would have been weird considering the animosity between Hershey and Wilkes-Barre and Hynes and French in particular.
