Too early to tell for sure. Milwaukee has played 5 home games this season (out of 19) and I am a 1/2 STH. I think he can be an NHL player. His size doesn't make him look slow in the AHL. He is a good stay at home defender. He would be good if paired with Klein in the NHL.

Foss is out for the season. Bartley has a good slapper but can't fight his way out of a wet paperbag. Blum is looking much better and throwing hits. Valentine crushes people with hits and will fight. Put those four D-men together as one guy and you have Bobby Orr!

Good news indeed. Would be nice for him to gain momentum and go on a little run. He was playing great before the injury.

The Ads need more scoring. They average 2.84 a game, while yielding 3.05.

Speaking of scoring, Leispic just scored his 17th of the year on the powerplay.

That's 42 pts in 25 games. 4th in WHL scoring.

Edit: Haha, just as I was typing that message he scores his 2nd of the game and his 18th on the year. Crazy.

Edit #2: I've got to be some kind of good luck charm. The kid just completed the hattrick in a matter of minutes. Holy cow!

Edit #3: Make that 4.

So how long does he have to keep going off before he can start calling him a steal? I know it's too early and too small of a sample size...but...woah. Very pleased so far.

Last year, I heard a lot of Ads fans saying he was better than Blum. Any update? Hoping he can still progress to an NHL level, but know nothing about him besides very brief and vague reports last season.

Just look at that Portland line!

Petan: 16/31/47
Leipsic: 20/25/45
Rattie: 17/25/42

#'s 3-4-5 in WHL. Must have been the extra money.

B. Leipsic: 24 games, 20 Goals, 25 A, 45 pts {Team is leading division; Portland}
Z. Stepan: 17 games, 12 goals, 16 A, 32 pts {USHL, Leading the west Waterloo}
S. Karlsson: 21 games, 1 goal, 7 A, 8 pts (D-man) {Fighting to keep in play off contention. Plymouth}
B. Andrews: 28 games, 5 goals, 13 A, 18 pts {Halifax is #1}
C. Sissons: 27 games, 10 goals, 17 A, 27 pts (pts per game) {Team is 4th, Kelowna}

A lot of solid Junior guys.

Don't forget about a Mr. Seth Jones who's a lock for the top 3 in the 2013 draft. I'll be rooting for that team to reach the memorial cup.

Leipsic was also named WHL Player of the Week yesterday and he has the highest PPG in the WHL with 1,80 PPG and the third highest in the CHL only after Strome and Currie, and both of them are atleast a year older then Leipsic.

I really really like our 2012 draft even if Aberg disapoinet a bit but
Vesey and Stepan are also doing well at their league.

I don't think he is better than Blum at the moment. I have never seen Blum look better in all the time he has played in Milwaukee. He is hitting people all all over the D-zone. In the past, Blum rarely did more than bump or jostle an opponent.

When I see Bartley in person again, I will give you a report on him. Admirals are leading Texas 1-0 after two periods.

Bartley started the OT for Milwaukee and knocked a guy down. Ads lose at 1:56 of OT. I think Valentine and Jarvinen were on the ice. Bartley also started the game with Ellis.

The PP is 5 of the last 54, the PK isn't so good either.

Have they kept the Puustinen - Watson - Bang line together?

Watched Cincy last night, Roussel scored a nice one and played very well! Probably the best D for the Cyclones. Shala scored in the shoot out. ABM played well. Aronson and Bitteto were OK (at best).

Last night they broke up that line. It was Cehlin-Watson-Bang. Puustinen was on the fourth line. Watson scored the lone goal for Milwaukee with Bang getting the assist. Watson has sure been on a tear and Bang has been doing well.

Milwaukee is climbing up the charts they have a streak of 3-0-1-1 and last 10 of 5-2-2-1

They are 10th in the west but they were as low as 14th.

Cincy is leading their division and 3rd in the east. last 10 6-4.

Highest scoring Pred on Cincy:

Josh Shalla: 11 gp, 9G, 3A

Highest scoring Admiral:

Austin Watson: 20 gp, 8G, 7A

Admirals coach called out Jeremy Smith. I don't remember the last time that happened in Milwaukee, probably 2 or 3 coaches back. Noel never did that!
