I agree he is not a B option coach, he is very high quality, I was just saying from the sounds of it he would be our 2nd choice behind Butch Jones.

Nope, he went on twitter and said he asked CU to take his name of the running. Funny thing is that he was never in the running to be the HC, only as a OC.

I put Mullen in the same boat as Strong, no point of him leaving Miss State for CU. He already makes a lot of money there.

CU has pulled out of on Butch Jones, that's the rumor. Damn rumors lol. However, the main guy on Rivals said that Dave Doeren's name is picking up steam. I guess Doeren is the flavor of the day

Edit: Doeren to NC State

Horrific.
Just read it, thankfully you don't see this in hockey or football.

I hope his girlfriend can RIP, but not this ****er.

Dave Doeren to NC State, nooooooo.

There's new Butch Jones rumor every hour, so I'm done posting about this until CU hires someone

Mangino would be a horrible fit in Boulder.

My thoughts exactly. Not only feel bad for his girlfriend's family, but also feel bad for the kid who they had together who won't have any parents because dad decided to shoot everyone up.

Solid game. Tampa scored some garbage time points to make it look closer than it was. Going into this game I envisioned Doug Martin gashing the defense and not letting Manning see the field. Broncos' defense played well and the offense showed up in the second half. Nice to see Miller get his first interception. Guy is a beast.

So that crap at the end of the Broncos game where the Bucs coach makes his players go hard when the other team is taking a knee is a bunch of garbage. The funny part is there is an easy way to make his stop doing it. All a team has to do is go into a victory formation, then instead of taking the knee have a WR break off the line and throw him the ball and have him walk in for an easy TD. I was hoping after the first BS rush on the kneel down, that Payton would do this but John Fox has no balls so I knew it wouldn't happen.

But if a couple teams did this to the Bucs a couple times the players would get sick of being embarrassed and would stop doing it even if the coach was telling to do it.

If everything goes well, hammer out a deal with Butch Jones tonight. Press conference on Wednesday, and introduce him during halftime of the CU/CSU game. Tad Boyle is in the meeting where Jones is at too, hard for me to believe that this deal won't get done. He'll probably bring his DC with him. His DC Steve Stirpling, was a CU alum. Great more CU alums on staff If Jones does get the job, I expect Shane Dillon to start. Coaches has been raving about him while he was on the scout team and Jones recruited to Cinci as well.

I think it's obvious that Solich is driving the bus here. He wanted Embree gone and wanted Jones, as did Bohn. Solich is the guy that will donate the most money to build the facilities.

I would assume Connor wood would start, he has the mobility and the arm to be a prototypical spread quarterback. He also wouldn't have to make the tougher throws he struggles with.

Facilities upgrade was part of the promise to Jones. About ****ing time. I think the contract for Jones is somewhere between 2.75M~3.25M for him and he gets 3M for assistants. Throw all the $$$$ at Justin Wilcox!!!!

CU is also getting a new uniform from Nike. Color is Matte Black, that I know for sure Read they will get variety of choices like Okie State.

I hope Mike MacIntyre is plan B. Kind of worried about Tim DeRyuter, that said, make a decision Butch Jones.
