Mike Shanahan has now coached 7 1,000 yard rushers, more than any coach in NFL history

Aren't 3 or 4 of those from late in the draft? I may criticize some of the stuff he does, but I will definitely never question any RB he drafts. I'll just nod my head and say "yes, that's likely best."

Shanahan: "To be able to close out a game when you've got to run the football says a lot about our offensive line as well as Alfred."

O-line does deserve some credit. My Boys played great in the trenches.

Yes Shanahan has had success with late round RB's. Terrell Davis, Olandis Gary, and Mike Anderson were all late round guys, I think. Shanahan did take that tool from Ohio State in the 3rd though, but I will give Shanahan a mulligan on that one.

Williams has had a big season.

Credit to the defense, they stepped up. They were helped by Eli at points and by dropped balls at others, but they did a good job shutting down the Giants' run. Helps that Brown is broken.

Mike Shanahan joked about RG3's fumble on the TD: "He's worked on that during the week." #Redskins

It felt good to have one of those fluke plays go in our favor.

Also, this game had a lot of Virginia Tech representation. The division seems to like VT players.

To be fair and balanced, Shanahan also drafted that tool from Ohio State in the 3rd and Tatum Bell in the 2nd. Oh well, nobody is perfect.

Skins now 5-1 when Garcon plays, and 1-5 when Garcon sits.

Interesting: London Fletcher apparently got up in front of entire defense at halftime & told them the season was on line in coming 2 qtrs.
