I like WNY I love it. I just miss NJ too. And BleedRed, the food in WNY is far superior IMO. Huge proportions and so much yummyness.
nope. nope. nope.
Well, the pizza and bagels certainly have NOTHING on the pizza and bagels down here. Wegman's subs do however trump most food here. I'd do some dirty things for a Wegman's sub today.
Well, we had a debate in history class today, where we represented the four major nations in the Paris Peace Conference at the end of Word War 1.
I represented Italy (who got shafted in real life)
Thanks to my amazing debate skills, Italy is now the most powerful nation of Earth

yes yes yes. The pizza i get from this tiny place is really good. They pile on the cheese and any toppings and cook it right. The wings are great. I'm not a bagel person (Unless it has onion and garlic on it.) But a lot of stuff like beef on wick, any chicken, soups...kicks so much *** here But I live in WNY... I dont remember if you told me that you lived in town or not

While I agree that the pizza and bagels in NJ are superior to those in WNY, I also find that people are very protective of the pizza they grew up with. A pie (jersey slang) in Toms River is way different than the one I would get in Cheektowaga.
The wings in WNY are so far above those I can get anywhere else. I'm such a wing snob now because of it. I'll go out to watch football here in Hartford and my friends will tell me that "insert bar here" has the best wings and I'm just like... meh. Unfortunately Duff's has ruined me for life.

What little place are you referring to? Curious.
how is Duff's? when I visited Buffalo I went to Anchor Bar, by far the best I have ever had

Went to UB and lived in Amherst for 4 years, you know this, come on, man!
In my four years at Buffalo I NEVER got wings. How sad is that? My own fault. I've been to Duff's three or four times and was just never feeling wings. Anchor Bar once.
I believe the consensus is that the wings at Anchor Bar are crispier than those at Duff's, but Duff's has the better sauce selection. That's what I've heard, as I have never tried either's wings.
I hate myself for that.

I prefer Duff's because the one in Orchard Park has served me well. Their wings are bigger than what they give you at other places. The sauce is better IMO too, but the Anchor bar is right there too. I can get more wings for cheaper there. We make them the best. and Sanwiches/subs.
I'll have to get back to you because I don't have the name of it.

I have trouble going 14 days without wings. Generous amounts at that. How did you go to school in Buffalo for 4 years and not try every damn wing in the city? I want to visit Buffalo just to get wings sometimes. If I lived there I'd eat wings daily and be the fattest, happiest man alive.

You'd fit right in
I'm not a huge wings guy. I'd rather have a nice burger any day of the week. I was on my way to Duff's one time senior year to finally get my wings, but my ex and I got into a fight on the way there and turned around
Everyone come up and visit, I shall be your guide in eating all the wings. It's a regular thing for me to have them 1-2 times a week, I'm nuts. my girlfriend thinks I'm nuts. She tried one and she was fliiping out (She's from mid state around Binghamton.)
