Not going to go against my own rules, so now I'll say add Josh Morrissey. I'd take him over Zadorov.

Anyways, Lindholm here. Comparisons to Backstrom are just too tempting.

I could go Lindholm or Monohan.

Same. I went with all around game over offensive upside.

Add Mantha, he's on Top 15 of most of the up-to-date lists (which mynhldraft isn't).

Sean Monahan. I love his style of play and his offensive abilities. He's the type who can put up a PPG while playing a gritty style that every team loves. I take him over Lindholm very easily.

Monahan. I think I've heard him being compared to a Toews-type player (could be someone else though).

Elias Lindholm for me. Would have been okay with him at #3 over Barkov actually.

Just curious, but has anyone voting for Lindholm actually seen him play before? If so, would you mind giving me your own personal opinion/scouting report?

That's overrating him pretty significantly.

Haven't had the time to watch draft eligibles as often as I usually do this season but I've caught Lindholm a couple times while watching Jarnkrok play (took him in my keeper league). Really smart player with great puck possession skills. Not an amazing skater but definitely NHL level. Can't really say much about his defensive game as I wasn't paying close attention to him or anything, but it wasn't glaringly awful.

He's putting up rather impressive numbers as a 17 year old in the SEL and I think his offensive tools project better than a guy like Sean Monahan. Not knocking Sean in any way but I'm not convinced he'll be a legitimate top-line guy in the NHL.
