Yeah, couldn't really remember, what a terrible offersheet in this first place. If you're going make that offer sheet don't make it a 3 year offer.

Also wondering if there's a practical way to make NTC's a part of Bluth Company. I've been looking at cap geek a lot recently in order to gauge which trade i should make, and I usually see people with NTC on the bottom of their contract info.

Seems like it'll be more realistic but could also be potentially very annoying. Not sure what to think. Feedback would be great

Well, I understand the NTC's and NMC's, but with them usually comes some form of discounted signing, as a Flames fan, Curtis Glencross is probably the best example here, could have easily gotten 3-3.5M as a ufa but stayed with Calgary with a NMC for 2.55.

I wouldn't be against it, I don't really see what purpose it serves though, we're already at 2 trades per year, strict rules regarding "franchise players".

Also depending on the progression of Despres, Maatta and Pouliot one of them might be available, along with Roy and the 17th overall pick in the draft this year.

Phoenix will be shopping their first round draft pick for the right price.

Will be around 8th overall.

Will use this post to try an undercut the competition lol.

The Sharks are still selling 5th overall. Which does have a chance at 1st overall. Mostly looking for offense. Probably at C.

Drew Stafford
Brayden Mcnabb

CBJ 2013 1st Round Pick (4)
Brett Lebda

Too many wingers on this team and grigs has made drew expendable to get this potential #1 draft pick. We wish Drew and Brayden the best of luck in Columbus. Buffalo will have the #4 and #25 pick in the first round.

New Lineup heading into Draft day:

Grigorenko - Skinner - Pominville
Leino - Bozak - Vanek
N Foligno - Ott - Gallagher
M Foligno - Adam - Kaleta
Porter

Johnson - Sekera
Lebda - Weber
Leopold - Brewer
Psysk, Brennan

Miller

Sorry Drew
Confirmed.

As much as Columbus wanted to keep this pick and see how things played out with the lottery, we need to take a step in a different direction and focus on winning now. Already having more than enough youngsters to develop columbus look towards bringing in some role players. With Stafford we get a twf who can put up 50pts and with Mcnabb we get a young Dman who isnt afraid to throw his body around, and have more than enough upside to have an immediate impact for the organization. And if everything the develops correctly will have the 4M's as a top defensive pairings.
Murray-Morrissey
Mcnabb-Murray

We'd like to think brett for everything he has done in columbus and wish him the best of luck in Buffalo.

Usually, yes, but I was under the impression we were advancing from the end of the cup finals through the draft, so you won't be able to see it before you have to final your draft priority.

At least that's how I understood Fuss's plan.(Though looking in the playoff thread, it appears that that might not be right?)

this.

Whether or not Frolik gets resigned or rights traded depends on development of my other players..

Also forgot to mention to those interested in Frolik.. I just realized he will be a UFA.. I thought he had 1 more year but was wrong.. Still looking to maybe move his rights st the draft though.

Are happy to announce the following trade.

To

Colin Wilson
Mike Fisher
2014 1st (12th overall)

To
Danny Briere
Scott Hartnell

The Philadelphia Flyers would like to thank Scott and Danny for their time here and wish them all the best in Nashville. The fact remains that we have some excellent young wingers who have pushed their ways up the depth chart, making this move allows them the opportunity that they've earned while also allowing Scott Hartnell and Danny Briere an opportunity that they deserve with Nashville.

We are very happy to welcome Colin and Mike to the Flyers, we've established Colin Wilson as a young, emerging center that will be part of our team for years to come. Mike Fisher is a respected veteran in this league and we hope he will be a veteran presence to make up for the loss of Danny and Scott.

The 1st round pick allows us to identify a strong player in the upcoming draft that will develop with some of our other younger players in our system.
