Will get Vontaze Burfict treatment. UDFA.

The fact that the whole drug issue lead him to become kicked off the team, and then he still went back to it means he's got a real discipline problem.

I'm not sure a team will waste a pick on a kid who doesn't seem 100% committed to football. Then add in his size issue.

UDFA who will be signed due to his playmaking ability.

With a guy like that a lot will come down to workouts and interviews. Think this one could fluctuate between 3rd round and not drafted.

Round predictions right now are pointless. Everyone knows players can shoot up or down based on workouts and the combine.

I love Te'o as a player, and he'll be a great NFLer. Would form a great trio with Ryans and Kendricks. But the Eagles need a lineman so badly it isn't funny. Jason Peters is very good but 30, Kelce is also a building block on the line. Watkins has shown flashes but what else is there? Bell has been meh. Dunlap and co. has been terrible. The Eagles should be able to get Joeckel to anchor the line for the future.

This will most likely be the case. Burfict is having a pretty good year in Cincy though so maybe a team will take a chance on Mathieu in the late rounds. That being said, Burfict's issues were all about attitude whle Mathieu has questions about his size/skill along with the attitude/behavioural issues.

No, burfict blew the combine, there were a lot of questions about his athleticism. He is probably in my top ten for rookie of the year.

Burfict was a problem child on the field. That's why he dropped out of the draft.

Honey Badger was off the field, teams usually take chances on them sooner in the draft, as long as they don't think he's generally a bad guy

I honestly think the Raiders won't win another game. They look so bad right now. I think it'll be much better in the long run. Get a top 5 pick, move as much salary as they can, build for the future.

Chiefs win ties them with the Jaguars, but if I remember how tie breaks work, KC still has the 1st by virtue of Jacksonville's two wins being divisional and KC's were both non conference.

Still, the plot thickens.

Carolina game is a no shot 10 AM start, the Raiders are horrid in those and have been for years. Also have serious problems vs running QB. If I'm the Raiders I shut Palmer down after the upcoming ass kicking by Denver and stick Pryor in there against KC to ensure a loss, but at this point the Raiders only real chance of winning a game is against the Chiefs...I like our chances to pick top three.

KC is ahead, but the only tie-breaker is strength of schedule.

#1 KC (2-10) - .507 SOS
#2 JAC (2-10) - .576 SOS
#3 OAK (3-9) - .493 SOS
#4 PHI (3-9) - . 500 SOS
#5 CAR (3-9) - .528 SOS

Of the 4-8 teams SD has the lowest SOS and would pick 6th. CLE is next.

Great loss to the Browns. The Raiders are on their way down! We gunning for that number one slot!

You don't want it. Geno Smith isn't worth the #1. Hope Jags stay at #2 and find a partner to dance with.

The Cardinals look like the only team right now that are absolutely incapable of winning a game. I'm wondering if they can sneak in to the bottom spot. Probably not, but there's a chance.

The Eagles will lose out (@TB, Cinci, Washington, @ NYG). I expect no lower than the 3rd pick.

I'm on the fence with Jarvis, but I don't know what really to expect at all lol. Interesting times to be a Jags fan

You don't gotta keep the pick. Look at the haul the Skins gave up for the 2 pick, i'm sure the Raiders could get a whole bunch back, and rebuild over a while, as they let their terrible contracts die.

Except there isn't a Franchise QB to be had with the top 2 picks. This draft isn't deep, and there's not the top end talent to demand a "whole bunch back" for a top 5 pick.

Just don't pick Te'o. I don't want him to die from the team never winning.

Correction: This draft isn't deep with skill positions.

In what way? Smith is accurate, has arm strength, and can make all the throws. His deep ball is amazing.

Yes, you are correct. But those are the type of players where teams can demand big returns in draft day trades (ala RG3). Without those players in this draft, teams moving down cannot expect to get as much as what the Skins offered last year. The top 3 picks this year are not as valuable.
