Here's the Top 10. Jones, MacKinnon and Barkov are still 1-2-3 respectively and Drouin is not surprisingly a riser.
1. Seth Jones
2. Nathan MacKinnon
3. Alexander Barkov
4. Jonathan Drouin
5. Elias Lindholm
6. Sean Monahan
7. Nikita Zadorov
8. Valeri Nichushkin
9. Josh Morrissey
10. Ryan Pulock
Good to see him finally warm up to Drouin, even if he is late to the party. I'm slightly surprised that he still has Pulock below Zadorov and Morrissey, I'd be interested in hearing his logic, but they are all very good d prospects. Also a bit surprised that he continues to have Jones over MacKinnon.

Man oh man, the idea that you could get a player of Monhan's caliber at #6 is just unreal. What a great looking draft.
Connor Hurley at 38 gave me the giggles but this is one of the few Button lists I can respect. The draft is so deep this year that the rankings are going to be all over the place for everyone, it's really only the top 5-10 you can get in arguments about unless you're telling me Connor Hurley is #38
I really appreciate the work Button does. Chances are he's seen almost every one of these players live, in clouding Risto. The structure of this list is eerily similar to mine which I posted four days ago. Top six being exactly the same.
Good to see Domi at 12. Seems like it's taken scouts a really long time to buy into Domi but he keeps producing. Not sure I would personally take him that high myself, but I'm glad he's getting his due.

Whats your opinion on Hurley?
From all the stuff I've read about him, he is a potential first rounder/early 2nd. What makes him not worthy of #38?
Can someone put Ryan Fitzgerald's numbers into context for me? He doesn't seem to be tearing up the EJHL and is that not a league that is one step below the USHL?(Please correct me if i'm wrong). Figured maybe he is a long term project but he's kind of diminutive in size.
Stats aren't everything but does this make a 96 like Egle, who's doing very well in the EJHL, look even better?

I wouldn't read all that much into EJHL stats. There've been 16 year olds who've come through the league over the years that have put up huge numbers and not really done much at higher levels. Then there've been guys like Charlie Coyle or Brian Dumoulin who've come through at older ages and put up relatively modest stats and go onto great success at higher levels. Fitzgerald's stats are not impressive at all but I don't think you can draw any conclusions off that.
All that said, Button has been a fan of Fitzgerald's since his strong performance at the US prospects game back in September. He was also pretty good for the US team at the World Jr A Challenge, which Button did some broadcasting from.
Lol my cousin played hockey with him and is going to watch him when Victoria comes to play Edmonton. I feel like a ****** because I told my cousin "ya he is big but I havent seen him on any draft lists and has no goals". Stupid me
