PA using threat of disclaiming/decert.
League telling the PA that the "best deal is coming" moment is right now. If thats what you're waiting for it's time to get serious.
Sort of forcing both sides together to take one last stab at this.

It was honestly the least they have ever said on one of their reports....I honestly think something is going on one way or the other right now in a big way. They just kinda went over the regular talking points, made no mention of last nights report out of Boston and just said "Well, I guess this could be their pull the goalie moment".
The actual owner doesn't make a difference. But you still cheer for the organization, that IS the owner. This isn't a difficult concept, unless your whole argument is just to say how anti-owner you are.
They aren't though: You could remove owners completely and have communities run these franchises and they would be just as successful(or unsuccessful).
I have a feeling they are going to make a deal or have a frame work for one. With out any professional negotiators in the room, both sides can kind of say what they really want and what will work without feeling like they are loosing leverage. Less hard ball playing by both sides, a deal could be cut.

I'm amazed by the optimism but we would've heard something about it by now I would've guessed and from a more "set-in-stone" source than Burton.
I seriously doubt that they'll announce the framework for a deal tonight just because of a player-owner meeting.
Although I always seem to be more confident and optimistic when Daly and S.Fehr are in the meetings and the others aren't.
I'm trying to avoid coming up with optimistic scenarios but can't help it. Maybe the tsn crew has the good news but promised to keep it quiet in return for getting the scoop?
