So stop bashing DD for sweet nothing. He produced, The other two: no !

Anyway, the team finished 15th in the Conference. That's the bottom line.
How do you expect Plekanec to produce with Gionta and Cammalleri? They were injured.

I have no problem with ads on jerseys if there's only one like in most soccer leagues - anything that stops the owners and players from crying about how poor they are.

No thanks for the racecar style.

Those are old school hockey jersey sizes, not the fitted jerseys in the NHL.

Yep ! First goal for Desharnais in 7-4 win for Fribourg Gottéron against last year Swiss champion Zurich Lions (lock-out player : Dustin Brown). He scored the 4-1, had two shoots on goal a +- of 1.

The video of his first goal, a beauty in the top corner of the goal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBRmfeJphIk

Desharnais played 5 games so far, has 1 goal and 2 assists for 3 points, 2 penalty minutes, a +- of 1, and six shoots on goal.

Edit: small victory dance after the game from the whole team : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBP0S...ature=youtu.be

Good question ! And I don't have the answer ! It's a pretty common fan's song here in Europe ! Joël Kwiatkowski (282 games in the NHL with Pittsburgh, Ottawa, Washington, Florida and Atlanta) began to dance on that song after he had some good game (best offensive defensman of our team) or after we won the game. And the whole team danced Tuesday, even Desharnais, on that song after the win against Zurich

Glad to see Desharnais heat up.

Kind of funny that all 3 of our Cs are tearing it up in Europe right now.

Not so nice. Since he's 5'6'' his points are worth at most 1/3 of those scored by tall people.

One point from a guy like Stortini is worth 10 from someone like Desharnais.

Anyone watching the games to provide insight as to how well he's playing?

Galchenyuk would have 20 pts by now.

Desharbust!

Nice to see him continuing where he left off, I'm a big fan of DD. I want him on this team in the future even if he moves to the wing.

While that is definitely impressive, Linus Omark is hovering around the same PPG and his game really didn't translate to the NHL.

Makes me think of the song the Flyers' fans sing after a goal!
I like it!

Pretty impressive yesterday, he was named the best player on the ice for Fribourg ! He seems to have found his rhythm, and adapt pretty well to the bigger ice the last few games ! Personally, I'm impressed by his puck conservation ! Even if he is not big, he can keep the puck very well, stay on his feet, and outplay bigger opponent (I'm aware it's the swiss-league, not sure how it's in the NHL since i don't follow the Habs, but still ) ! He's also playing an energetic, quick game, and his passing game, simply nice !

The negative point is that he doesn't want to shoot, even if he is in a good position. Seems like he is alway going to try the perfect pass, even if he's alone before the net. I'm exaggerating a bit, but not that much ! He was good his first game in the face-off department, but not that good the last few games.

That sounds like the guy we know! Thanks a lot for the report Yvanoe.
