That's 4 of the 5, and they make up 20 of the 23

Has the current franchise won this trophy? Or the original?

Right, the NHL doesn't own it.

No, although Ottawa did win that three times it is now defunct.

The cup is named after its donor though

Yes

When the original Sens moved to St. Louis the organization actually split into two parts, the NHL part and the Senior Senators.

The NHL part folded after one year, and was sold to the NHL for if an Ottawa team ever returned.

The Senior team won 3 Allan cups (with Sens who were part of the NHL teams too)

Which former Ottawa 2nd round pick spent the majority of his career bouncing around the AHL and ECHL, playing for 11 different minor league teams over the span of five seasons, ending his career with a two season stint in a semi-pro league?

Simon Lajeunesse

you could have picked Mathieu Chouinard as well, similar type of career. Back to back 2nd pick (99 and 00) wasted on goaltenders.

Yup.

Chouinard bounced between 7 AHL/ECHL teams in 5 years. Both he and Lajeunesse played a single NHL game. Both of them ended up playing in the LNAH (and actually were both with Laval in 05/06). Was hoping the similarities would throw people off.
