IF they come to some sort of agreement soon and announce a 48 or 52 or 60 game season, whatever, any chance that I could get season tickets? I'm not on a waiting list or anything. Quickly browsing some posts above, others waiting have already put down $500? Looks like I'd be out of luck then. Just was thinking today that I could afford a partial season and perhaps some angry fans choose not to keep their tix.
If anyone could just give a quick update on what's currently going on with seasons, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
probably to late to the party unless you want glass seats

Quick update...if you're willing to spend $120 or more per ticket you can get seasons this year. If you want to spend less you're 99.97% out of luck.

thanks bb.
was thinking lots have said screw 'em because of the lockout, but then again I'm sure the wait list is already long.
I'll probably give them a call anyway if this gets settled and at least get my name on a waiting list for next year and just continue to buy from everyone on here for this year.
This may be a good time to get in as long as they let you move to upper bowl next year. A 48 game season for a pair of tix at 120 would be 5760.00, for a full season this would be closer to 10k. I believe any new STH will be forced into lowers going forward since the upper bowl seems to be more in demand. This is the way I got in 4 years ago and I think most newer STH had to start in more expensive seats than they wanted.

I'm hoping I could upgrade from my half-plan to reasonable full-seasons. Gonna give my rep a call later.
You can get full seasons if you want or even a partial plan if you go for lower bowl seats. If you go the full season ticket route you will be placed ahead of others who have put down a deposit and are on the waitlist and relocate to the upper bowl.
MSG has to figure something out as all agree that most lower bowl seats are way overpriced for the average fan!

Sadly MSG doesn't have to figure anything out as they don't really care if the average fan can afford seasons. As long as they have enough corporate clients to purchase most of the lower bowl seats they won't do anything. If that means having some empty seats they can live with that. They run the numbers and projections at various price points and go with whatever will make them the most money.
Can't wait to see my new seats. Moved from lower bowl behind the net to 4th row upper level center.
Went to MSG for Aerosmith on 11/20. Sat in the "renovated" Upper Bowl. There's NO legroom. Awful. Glad they decided to cram as many seats as possible without regard to comfort.

I dont see how they can make a promise to let someone move to the upper bowl the following season. #1) the availability is not know, and #2) can't imagine he would be the first person in line to get cheaper seats.

You can give people the opportunity to get cheaper seats, but like you said they have to get in line behind everyone with longer seniority. If the season gets cancelled there should be a lot of open seats from people who walked away but if they start the season in January most of those people will stick around
anyone planning on dropping there seats after this year?
Doubt that's very likely. It took me 10 years to get the sets of seats I have now, and the team is competitive. I'd be walking away from easy access to playoff tickets, not to mention the opportunity to make some money if so desired.
