Kaigorodov for sure...we all had him immediately penciled in as the long-awaited 2nd line centre...turns out he wasn't even close to being an NHL player.
I'm quite honestly shocked that Filatov hasn't tallied more votes. If I had time to waste, I'd bump threads from last year where posters were embarrassing themselves with posts like "Filatov should be good for 40 goals with Spezza" while a huge bunch were pretty much penciling him for a sure thing 25 goals.

When Filatov got picked up for a 3rd rounder, I was under no illusion that he was going to be a star.
I choose Kaigorodv, though again I was not really impressed.
Personally I would say that I overrated Rundblad (though he still has not "busted", he just won't be a #2 guy) and Regin, who I really liked. In his case, I think injuries will prevent him from becoming a regular.
Overall, I would say that I do not overrate prospects.
Easily Bochenski. The guy was pumped up to play on the top line with Spezz. Kaigarodov or w/e was projected to be a 2C, Bochenski crashed and burned way worst.
Haha is that true? I would pay to see him get turned down after asking for an interview.
The guy bashes the team every chance he gets. He is a Leafs fan to begin with. If you read his articles the guys that talk to him are either 4th liners or are new to the team and are unaware of who he is.
I swear he hides behind the corner when Ian Mendes does interviews so he can high jack some quotes.
If you want to go way back, before this board was active, there is the goalie Ottawa drafted twice, Mathieu Chouinard. When you like a guy so much that you draft him twice, you are rather expecting that he can play. They thought they were picking up a franchise goalie - not so much, as it turns out...

The second time wasnt because he was such a good prospect, it was because we wanted to spite him for
being such a privelaged ****** during negotiations.
