Huberdeau is clearly the most talented player of the two. We're speaking of a third overall NHL draft pick.
But at the level Carrier is playing right now plus the fact that he'll be back next year, he's the one I would trade pay for.
Also, I've seen Huberdeau play in the final against Rimouski last year, and I didn't like his attitude. He was cocky and didn't seem to be in a playoff-mode.
So, if i'm a team who already have elite talent, I would be paying for Carrier or Danault.
But, If I my team is lacking that true high-level player, Huberdeau would be my choice.
Upgrade over Regimbald and Dube who have been average at best. Or a potential involving one of them going elsewhere.
Look for Yannick Dubé to be trade to Val D'Or, he's a local boy and the Foreurs have a 20 years old spot.
Also, I wouldn't be shock if Roch Regimbald his trade or simply release, as his trade value must be near zero.
Buy getting Boutet, Gatineau his getting a guy with leadership and who once displayed a physical style of play. They must be hoping he can find back that physical touch.
The Seadogs have 4 20 year olds, (3 defenseman Gagne, Seed, & Durepos finally back after missing the first 20 ganes or so). Seed was not dressed the last 2 games & he was the most improved player on the team last year (OK Gauthier was with a breakout 47 goal season as an undrafted 20 year old, but after him, Seed was easily the next most improved). He was a rock while Durepos was recovering from injury the first 20 or so games into the season, & it's got to be disappointing to have to sit becuase the dogs have too many 20's. Any team looking for a solid #4 D should be all over him, unless of course, Gagne &/or Durepos are moved (I think they will get a lot of attention). Going to be very interesting as all 3 D are solid top 2 pairing guys.

I've heard plenty of rumours from sources close to the team that Seed is the odd man out and that he is actually on his way to Summerside of the MHL as they are gearing up for the RBC as the host team.
Nice move for a guy who has no use really, to the Moose.
Hopefully there's more deals involving these two as Hudon or Danault would be welcome additions to the Moose... I wouldn't mind Vance but he's not a top 2 guy.

Well I don't think there's any surprise there. He was clearly the fill in until Durepos got back but he has picked up his level of play. I still don't think he'll be headed to Jr.A as one of Gagne,Durepos or MacAuley are bound to get traded which will open up a spot for him unless a 92' is coming back.
A depth 20 year old? Very little if any... Likely would rarher play for Summerside.
Seed wants to play in the QMJHL primarily and he's shown he can play at this level ... The question is whether someone is interested in replacing their overage player they may have traded themselves (SJ could also fit this bill themselves)

I think he can help a few teams.., maybe Sherbrooke ?
He'll be a SeaDog after the trade period. SJ are going to move at least one of Durepos,Gagne or MacAuley which will open up a spot for him. Saint John are in a rebuild, Seed would only get them a late pick (if that) as opposed to Durepos or Gagne bringing back an early pick and quality 16-17 year old. It's a no brainer...
I can see all 3 20's being moved... All have value.
But are all 20s and theres only a few teams in the market for an overager. MacAuley dosn't hold much value imo, I can't see him being moved. I'll say one of or both Durepos and Gagne will be traded..

Sherbrooke can hold 5 20's don't they only have 3 ?
