Yeah brassard didnt really do much for me last season, but he jumped from a 78 to a 84. I was happy about that, kinda hoping for the same thing from johansen ennis or kubalik. Not to mention gerbe who did jack **** and went from a 77 to a 85...
I have Kessel, Gardiner and Reimer at 4 and a half. Hopefully they all jump a little, and I have bunch more at 4 stars.
Toews is at 4.5 Star Green Potential. I'm wondering if he jumps up a few points too. I'm at school now so i cant advance. Also really busy studying for finals so my activity is going to be a little thinner than normal.
Take note though everyone, if the salary cap jumps up another $5 million, i'll have a Bluth Company Cap at aroud $77 million that will be enforced in full. GMs having an extra $6-$8 million in cap space than most people would guess the real NHL cap to be is not realistic at all.

Ugh, really? I mean you are right, of course, that the game cap will definitely be higher than the real-life cap would have been, but the salary demands are also higher. In real life, only a few superstar players command cap hits close to or north of $9 million. In the game, it isn't all that uncommon.
I dont know how much the cap will go up. Last year it went up $5 million though! If it goes up $5 mil/year then we're essentially playing in a league with "Cap Space Off". Managing the cap is a HUGE part of being a GM. I know players start asking for a lot more money but that "alot more money" should be covered in a $5 mil/cap jump. Besides, 90% of teams have no cap issues whatsoever AFAIK. Most teams have $10 mil + in space.
Going over the "Bluth Cap" will most likely result in that team forcefully giving away a 1st round pick or something of that value

If that's the case, could I make a suggestion? Why not use the extra space as the real-life offseason cushion? In other words, teams have to be at a certain level during the regular season, but can exceed the "Bluth" cap (up to the "real" cap) during the offseason.
I was unaware that trades can be made at any point in the offseason so i didnt take that into account when i made my schedule.
-I'll allow trades to be submitted until 12am today
-Advance at 12am all the way PAST the draft to the 1st day of free agency
-At 12:05am today (after i advance) thats when the official 4 day period will start
I listen to a playlist at work that has "Save Yourself" by My Darkest Days. Everytime it comes up I just want to play NHL haha. Looking forward to year 3

Fuss, im on the game now and nowhere to be found is "Make a Trade" so i cant make my trade that send my 1st pick to PHI...or anyone else who has picks involved
At 2:30- fuss advances to just before draft day so you can make all your trades?
At 12:00 am he advances to a couple of days before July 1 to resign our players?
At 2:30ish i advance once. Then we can see our players increase in overalls as well as make any trades that inolve picks/prospects.
At 12am i advance PAST the draft, all the way to the first day teams can sign their own UFAs and RFAs
