I skipped it this year. Really didn't like 12, I never caught on to all the defensive changes and found myself just playing 11 instead. I skipped NHL 12 so I bought that this year, and with the amount of time I have to play it makes sense to just stick with 1 game primarily.

Have heard great things about 13, though.

I'm trying to take a npower championship league team and get them promoted to the BPL. Was wondering what the financial reward is for doing so....Notthingham Forrest only gives me a $6 mil budget and $120,000 wage limit for the transfer window...am hoping to land a windfall when I get promoted.

Seriously, today's been awesome. Nice, quite, slow, relaxing day at work after one hell of a hectic mess last week. Had plenty of time to get my work done, was able to do everything efficiently, and have had time to sit back and relax on the interwebs during the downtime so far today.

Same here... it's like a holiday where everyone else is out and no one is buying anything, like the 4th of July or soemthing. I can't remember this place every being this quiet and slow, it's really weird. I've had one phone call all day... and like 2 texts from my boss.

What do you do? I work for a real estate title company as an office manager for a closing location, and the beginning of the month is always the slowest while the end of the month is the busiest as most lenders and trying to rush stuff out for likely monthly quota reasons.

Well, our network was down at work today shortly after 11:00 and remained down all day, so I essentially did nothing that entire time except move a couple boxes as it's impossible to do work at the job without an internet connection.

Not complaining though, I'm perfectly fine with being paid to be lazy and had already gotten the necessary work done for tomorrow, so it's not like I'll have to come into work in a rush to make up time. Thank God it happened this week and not last week, though.

I don't mind not working, but being able to surf the net while I just sit and watch the clock... but if I had to sit there and kill time for hours, but not be able to surf the net... I'd go ****ing insane.

Thankfully, I had my iPhone (and charger) as well as the Down Goes Brown book, so I was able to keep myself occupied with those.

Wow, that blows... any idea what's up and if it's the companies fault or the telco? If it's the telco I'd be freaking out...

Looks like it's going to be a busy day here today.... lame, was hoping to get a haircut during lunch.

No clue. We think it's AT&T, as nobody else on the floor and no other office with the company are affected.

What's more odd is that about an hour ago, the network came back up. Everything was working... for two minutes before crashing again.

Gonna be a good day.

This made me Google when Anchorman 2 is going to be released... October 13th, 2013. AYFKM?

That blows... or maybe it doesn't. Use to work for a company and where our data line came from, a few miles down the road... there was a bridge, that made it really really easy for thieves to access the cables. They'd steal the copper inside the data wiring once every other month or so, and we'd be down for 2-3 days. I loved it because it meant I go to leave, and go work from the bar... I mean home.

Well, everything came back up again inexplicably around 11:00ish, and have been running smoothly (albeit slowly) ever since.

But, of course, none of the lenders for the closings I have in my office tomorrow managed to have any of their figures in, despite a couple them saying that they'd be in this morning at the absolute latest when I spoke to them yesterday before the crash. I call/email them, get most of them to say that they're being worked on and will be sent over shortly, and..... two hours later, still nothing.

I swear, I need to convince the company to get in the habit of telling lenders that closings are actually a day before they really take place, as that's the only way we'll regularly get documents in on a timely fashion....

I just went to NHL.com, apparently for the first time since my Ad Blocker updated. ABP then proceeded to give this warning:

I died a little inside....

They need to execute this kid. What a joke of a legal system. You kill someone, you need to be locked up, I don't give a damn about the age. These kids are taking advantage of the law.

Won't he be locked up in juvie until he is 18, and then go straight to prison?

There are Carrabbas in the Chicago area? I was unaware of this. Used to eat there when I lived in Phoenix. Good eats. Didn't know there were any here.

Maybe I missed something but I read it as he killed someone, was released because he was underage (or on bail) and then killed another person.
