Personally I think Gagner has more offensive potential and Anisimov doesn't use his size very well so I don't have to much interest in him. Certainly not enough to trade Gagner and I'd laugh if I had to add.

The Blue Jackets traded for the best possible return for Nash. Trading for Anisimov would be Howson contacting Sather and offering a 2nd rounder (as suggested earlier in the thread.)

Anisimov would not make much sense for the Oilers. IMO, we need an offensive minded 2nd line C who can facilitate the puck between Yak and Hemmer. Anisimov is not that player. I would say that Gagner would be a better fit in that role. Oilers would say, NO!
