But only what is sure, Fraser sucked with young players at Atlanta and did same with Detroit prospects.

That's his CV. I'm very happy with Blashill there.
Look at Henkka busting out the curriculum vitae reference on HF Boards.

Anybody else catch the episode of Wingspan about the Griffins? Good stuff.

Although they said Tatar plays center and will be future checking line player. I can't even remember the last time he played center. Slovak Men's League?

And is that really how the organization sees him? As a checking line player? It's not really how I see his future but I'm not part of the brass. I've always thought he'd be a 2nd-3rd line tweener but a scoring type of player.

Not a chance the organization sees him like that. Unless my definition of a checking line player is way off theirs. But definitely, he has tools to play on a 3rd line too, but more of the skill type rolling three good lines way.

Fournier was called back up on 11/26 and Nicastro was sent to Toledo on 11/28.

Playing time switch for sure. Nicastro sat out all three games when Paetsch returned.

That stick throwing in the air, catching the stick, then the puck is the best move I've seen from Jurco. What amazing eye hand coordination that kid has.

Flat, that is pretty much all you can say about that, worst game I have watched them play this year. Especially the offensive guns.

Nyquist, Andersson, Tatar, have all been terrible in these two games so far.

That line has allowed 4 even strength goals in 3 and a half periods, and been invisible offensively.

I think it might be time to break up that line.
I think they should reward Ferraro and do Tatar-Ferraro-Nyquist, put Andersson on line 2 with Pare and Jurco, and bump Sheahan down to the 3rd line.

Well Andersson's line is broken up, he got the gate for no tie down when he was attacked. Kind of a terrible call in my opinion, he didn't want to go and the linesman did a terrible job of protecting him, he only dropped the gloves after getting punched a ton while trying to just grab onto the guy.

Lets not make him out to be too much of a victim. The guy was roughing him up in the corner but Andersson got up and gave him a big cross check before the fight happened

That is fine it went from a shoving match to a fight. The guy then dropped his gloves and threw some bombs. Andersson just tried to wrap him up, the linesman should have jumped in. After he took about 6 or 7 shots he started firing back with his gloves still on with his jersey pulled over, before finally losing his right glove. Lets not pretend that is figthing with your tie-down off either, that wasn't his intent and not why the rule is in place. I had a bigger problem with the 10 minute game misconduct, just disagree with it being applied there.

I didn't think he had a bad game. Something did look off about him, though. I think he might be hurt. It seemed like he was losing a lot of battles for the puck.

Not too surprised about how the week unfolded. The team energy probably went down a bit when the streak ended. The win last night coming from behind was big though, and gives some breathing room going forward. Nyquist's and Tatar's bad games are few, but they will happen occasionally after all. Very good night for Sheahan to pull his weight.

It might make Andersson think twice about delivering a cross check again.

Wow that sounded like the greatest unsuccesful powerplay ever. Too bad they kept missing the net.

seriously a full two minutes in the zone, at one point it looked like there was gonna be a sure fire goal from Tatar I think.

that was a real highlight powerplay, so many nice moves, passes and everything at high-speed. fascinating how they forgot to score.
