#gophers goalie Adam Wilcox named HCA National Division 1 Rookie of the Month. Wilcox went 5-2-2 with a 1.75 GAA and .925 SP in Nov.

Absolutely, but I am a tiny bit surprised. This is HF we're talkin about here. These are the people who dropped Stammer from a 9.0B to a 8.0B in his month of NHL action, think Sebastien Piche is still a Lightning prospect, and have this oldy as our logo, among many other things. It's not like they actually pay attention to what goes on over here.

Correct me if im wrong but I don't see Tampa in 11-20 or 21-30 team rankings by HF, a first ever top 10 finish in the organisational rankings??
I have to be looking in the wrong place. The HF rankings I found (the end of last season) had the Lightning #17. And their individual player rankings seemed way off to me as well. Maybe they've done an update that for some reason I can't find?

They're releasing the new rankings now. 11-30 have already been released and the lightning aren't in them.
Check the prospects board for the link. The thread title is about Anaheim's prospects.
when (if) the lockout ends will the lightning call up any prospects that weren't considered before the lockout? Maybe Panik?
Still have to have training camp. What will be different about camp this year, should the CBA be signed soon, is that the AHL season is already underway.
We've got guys like JT Wyman who would get a camp callup but not neccessarily a spot on the main roster. Should be interesting to see how it's done.

Aulie is set to return to action for the Crunch on Friday night with Hamilton visits. Aulie has been out since Oct. 27 when a Wilkes-Barre/Scranton shot crashed into his ankle and broke it. He recently got medical clearance to return, but admits that the cobwebs accumulated during six weeks off will be difficult to quickly dust away.
"The game situations are tough to replicate in practice,'' Aulie said after practice on Thursday. "That's part of being injured, the battle back. You can't wait to get back out there.''

Forward Connolly got a scare against Connecticut on Saturday. He took a hit to the chest and was initially diagnosed with a chipped sternum. A second X-ray, done in Syracuse, identified the problem as a much less serious, but still painful, contusion.
Connolly missed Sunday's game at Binghamton, but skated through a full-contact practice on Thursday. He is considered day-to-day.
"It's painful, but it's not an injury right now,'' Connolly said. "It's not going to get any worse. It will slowly get better.''
