You have to remember everyone is trying to get a piece of this pie. The media loves this. Journalists all over are licking their chops. Everyone wants to be the one who broke the news regardless of if they actually have real "sources", are there, or know anything about it.

DeLury is the #1 Ranger blogger. I do know for a fact that he does get special access to events and gets interviews through the Rangers, but I would take his claim of having a reliable "source" with a grain of salt.
