the amount of fake jerseys in those photos are staggering
I don't care about racking up jerseys, but given how much an authentic costs I don't even blame people for going to Richmond to get their gear. The retail prices are criminal.
I would *** in my pants to see you and y2canucks jump to volunteer service as fast as they jump all over possibly grabbing a glimpse of nhlers at 8 Rinks which they directly declined of us.
That was you? You might recognize me from the guy that came up to during the game we had before the nets and asking if that was the end of the line. It was. For the wrong team. I was wearing a jersey.

It's not everyday you get selected by your favourite player to be in the starting line-up and line-up next to Mark Donnelly.
Did you guys only get one or two shifts each with the amount of people there?
Most people got out there once, though I noticed that some people went out there twice before some even got one chance. One guy had been on twice and wanted another shot. I mean can't blame him, but give someone else a shot like a kid.

That's unfortunate. It tends to happen a lot at these kind of events; people get selfish and try to impress the pros instead of letting the kids play.
My only shift was taped. Success. Not much to see though, on the left wing.
I still regret we didn't get a chance to showcase our hockey chemistry out there at the end of the game. I think they knew we would have just taken over and they didn't want anyone's feelings to get hurt.

Yeah, don't get me wrong you definitely want to impress the pros for sure but I'd rather impress them by being a good person than a mediocre hockey player.

Yeah, I think Kes knew of our shift-dominating abilities and felt that Bieksa and company would have felt too embarrassed after we were through with them.

Yeah, I wouldn't have been much more than mediocre if I went anyways. I don't even get why people even try to impress the pros in the first place...they'll forget about you five minutes after the event's over.
