All have cap space of < $4 million. I might have to have an Untouchable list of players again this offseason. Although i do remember the cap space going waaaay back up for me after i simmed past the draft. Should happen again.

but there cap space will go way back up after the draft as a contract like Redden's contract will come off the books. Also if we get a huge cap raise then I don't think this should be a problem and there would be no need for an untouchables list.
Gomez, Gionta and a bunch of guys I signed for depth will be coming off the books. I will have about 20M space after the draft, with only Eller, Diaz (and maybe Emelin, if I feel like it...) needing to be signed not worried!

I should be ok.. The huberdeau trade should free an extra 4-5 million$ of cap space.. + only sobotka will want a significant raise
have 30 million of cap space going into next season no??
just without rosival and ericsson i shed 8.5 million
Hes talking about excess cap room.. so that 8.5 mil would be added to the 3-4 mil$ of cap room u have to sign ur existing players' raises in salary or extra players
You see? Now from this point on I think any cap troubles should be because the GM is a bad manager.
I have to agree with this. With Gomez and Redden contracts coming off this year and a much lower number of real-life horrendous contracts, I feel like at this point the onus is on the GM to get everyone signed, and if anyone slips through on July 1st, then that's too bad.
In a draft day deal the Pittburgh Penguins have sent the 17th overall pick in the 2014 draft to the Toronto Maple Leafs for Matt Frattin and Carter Ashton. "This is a deal that helps us quite a bit. Frattin is an excellent player and will slot into our bottom 6 nicely, while Ashton is only 23 and turning 24 so we still believe that he can become a top 6 player."
