If the Habs take Vishnevsky with the 16th pick I'll eat my Habs cap.

I don't think there's much chance of them taking him with the 16th pick. Why has he become the "darling" around here, I just don't understand it - because he plays in the Q?

'Cause when you look at it very quickly, we need d-men, but we most likely need puck-moving d-man for that whole transition game we suck so much at.....I have seen him play a few times this year, liked him very much but think 16th is still too soon for him.

But he's likely a candidate to fall in the 2nd round and we might have a shot at if he does.....

You don't draft needs, you draft talent. You can trade for need but drafting for needs is just wrong!!!

And then you have a Carey Price drama #2 in Montreal! I agree on the fact there will be better players than Ivan at #16, but I don't see him available at #46. BG could trade for a higher 2pick, like he did for Latendresse.

I for one hope Chris Stewart could still be available and we could nab him, another PF prospect in the system wouldn't be bad, as I could see some Ethan Moreau or at worse Mike Grier in him...

Still, with all the D in the 2nd rounds that could be available, I think we could trade down... the 16th for Phi 22nd and 38th ?

Or, while we're at it... Mtl 16h overall and Richard Zednik for Phi 22nd, 38th and 52nd ?

I want Patrick Berglund AND Brian Strait...
