There's an article link floating around in one of these threads that says Skjei could play in the NHL as soon as next year. Certainly unlikely but a nod to his NHL ready skating ability.

Impossible. He is barely bottom pairing on college team.

Anyone think Miller makes this team before the deadline, similar to Hagelin last year?

Feel like the bottom 6 needs some work, won't be long before Miller gets the nod (in my opinion).

Miller is merely an average AHLer at this point. That's great for a 19 year old, but you don't get bonus points for being 19 in the NHL. They don't give you extra goals or take it easy on you on defense just because you are still a teenager.

Let the kid develop.

Miller is a terrific prospect, but he's not a better player than a Tom Pyatt or Jeff Halpern. Not yet. He will be, but not yet. There's no reason to rush him. If he turns the corner in a couple months then maybe you'll see him up, but he's just not ready.
