Oh and guys DATSYUK IS UP FOR GRABS. I resigned him for 1 year 9.5 million. That's insane. Next year his cap hit will be lower. I'm looking for a second line centre, and a very good defensive prospect
Wow, that's insane.

I know Giroux wants 10.5 or some crap.

Also, who can answer how many more advances we have before ufa signings? For some reason couldn't log on last night, so did I miss one advance?

Just trying to figure out if I need to give in to Giroux's demands or if I can spare to lowball him another offer!

I thought the next advance was to July 1?

(That's why I started giving players what they wanted)

I could be wrong, but I know that they advanced twice last night. I got a few offers in before I got booted out around 2:30 or so a.m.

Just give him the full 10.5. Someone will have the cap space to trade for him if the rest of your roster is screwed up.

Fuss, wishlist addition:

(not sure if said already)

More capabilities on the NHL13 app for Iphone: Should be able to edit lines, call up/send down players and view schedule, maybe do offseason stuff too like sign players.

Understand the mobile app having less capabilities but I would think editing lines, calling up/sending down players is a MUST.

At the end of the season, it was only calculating your cap based on your NHL rosters, right?

Now it is including all your prospects and players in the minors.

That's incredibly stupid because the cap would have to increase in the summer and go backdown logically. I'm in **** cause of it

That's probably because you had bigger contracts in the ahl. Now they take the highest rated or paid in the offseason to calculate the cap.

You weren't here for last years debacle. The offseason roster INCLUDES the AHL salaries in the total payroll.

Once the season starts and you can send players down, the cap will drop. It's dumb, I know. Nothing we can do about it though.

I'd assume that was the same problem that both MTL and NYR had last offseason, right?

No not all the AHL salaries. It's because in the season, they don't count the AHL. In the offseason, they use the salary of the highest paid or rated players on your team. So let's say I had Komisarek in the minors, then his salary wasn't calculated during the season. Now in the offseason, he would be added bad to my salaries because he is getting paid more and rated higher than other players. They use something like the top 23 players on your team. Even if you would normally put some of those in the minors.

block is now updated.

Listening to offers on:

M. Gaborik
R. Nash
M. Del Zotto
M. Sauer
M. Staal

I'm not shopping them, and I may not move any. At most, I'd move one of Gaborik and Nash, and one defenseman.

I'm much more likely to move one of the defenseman than the forwards.

It's already June 27th tho. Won't the best advance put us into UFA season?

I'm guessing you can advance one day at a time in the offseason. That would be the logical thing anyway... although this game is anything but....

Btw Fuss is there a way to increase cap in offseason and bringing it back down for regular season? If there is that option please do it, it's not logical that I have my whole team ( farm teams + NHL team) against the cap! I know it's like that for everyone, but we both know there is no logic behind it

Columbus your rebuilding plan isn't working. Datsyuk may bring you to the next level...
