I think Dallas needs to stick to their identity as a "green" team, but maybe the green needs some updating and freshening up. How about something along the lines of what the London Knights were doing a few years ago? Go for a lighter green, brighten things up.
Very cool. IMO NDak has one of the best Jersey's out there.
That being said its time that Dallas comes up with their own identity and leaves the North Stars in the past. I know they're a long way off from the move to Dallas but that green still makes me think of Minny. Red White and Blue has been done to death but I guess something cool could still be done. Just keep the blue and don't go navy. Something along the lines of a Quebec Remparts jersey would be cool.
Detroit is red, Colorado is maroon and Dallas is green.
Colorado is burgundy

The three Ramparts jerseys are slowly becoming my absolute favourite jerseys. Love the look of the black/red/beige like the Blackhawks alternate.
That said, Dallas should reaaaaaally stick with green.
Adopting the identity? Did you read any of his post?
As far as changing the colors, yes. Dallas shouldn't be going to a lighter green just because the Knights are doing it.
Honestly, the Stars have always had dark green, black and gold in their color scheme up until the Reebok change, and it has been a staple in their franchise since.
I don't see why they would change the type of green just because another team has good light green jerseys. They aren't the North Stars or the London Knights. They have a great color scheme to work with from their own past.

Not true. The Stars wore light green accents their inaugural season in Dallas.
Our beat writer just gave Stars fans even more good news this weekend:
Quote:
This came up in conversations today, and I know a lot of you have been asking about it.
The Stars have asked for an extension on their deadline to submit new uniforms for the 2013-14 season, and have received it from the NHL. They probably have until late January now.
They are awaiting prototypes from Reebok so that they can be approved by the team and submitted to the NHL in time.
Among the key points:
1. They are drastically different from the current look.
2. There will be a new logo.
3. Green is the dominant color.
That’s all I have right now. There is a caveat that if they don’t think they have made the right choice, they could shelve it and then wait until 2014-15, but they seem ready to go forward with this right now.
I wanna stay positive about this but depending how "drastic" the changes are to the logo, having green as the primary colour might not make a difference to me.
