My wife just called from downtown to ask if something that is clearly not in the van was not in the van. Yes, the battery charger that I borrowed from her father is safely back in his garage, rather than riding around in the back of our van. No, I was not aware that she was going to park in a loading zone and run her flashers for nearly an hour while at a meeting. No, I had no idea this would run out the battery though I suspect it might. Yes, I did recommend renewing our AAA membership this summer but no, I did not do it because she said she was going to. Turns out, she didn't since she didn't want to pay for something we hardly ever use. Heh. ****.

Does she at least have a jumper cable? Pretty much a must for a car emergency kit. (Then comes the follow-up: does she know how to use a jumper cable?)

Oh, she has both the kit (with the cables) and the know-how. I'm just annoyed.

Surely not more annoyed than I was with my ex (when we were together) having a AAA card, yet not knowing how to use it?

Heh.

So the funny thing is, I borrowed my father-in-law's car to go down there and jumpstart the van. Just got back.

That's going to be an easy contact to justify deleting.

Just got this "come on man I cant do it rn cuz I'm studying"

Please, tell me how you haven't found time to do it, while I have had it done for the past week and a half

So just gave him a set of answers, bogus and re arranged ones. Hopefully he actually will read the book (He hasn't bothered to show up for any lectures meetings or labs since September)

BTW: Chain on a roll so far with the posts. First the UB entertainment one and I responded to my friend with a number and he is steamed now after acting like I have no idea what he's talking about

Not that they need publicity. The game is almost always out of stock or backlogged.

The guy(s) who invented this are genius.
A friend of mine brought it out a few weeks ago. So very grand and so very wrong.

I just hope I can get it from them and not have to pay more on Amazon. I don't really want a homemade set.

Re: the thread title, when I was in college at St. John Fisher I had a history teacher who on Fridays would always come in, sit down, put his feet up on the desk and say "It's Friday...no Friday is a bad Friday." He would then regale us with stories about his horse farm in Wayne County instead of teaching history. This guy is now the president of the college.
