They should last forever. A steam key is effectively like activating a retail steam game like Dishonored.

You buy the codes and redeem them on Steam right away, then you own them like any other Steam game you've bought but don't currently have installed. I got the bundle despite the fact CoH is probably all my laptop could handle and I don't even have time to install it right now.

I wonder if any THQ execs are just sitting there watching the money ticker on the website.

Currently at $1.7 million in payments. I wonder how much THQ will receive.

Nice, only $48.3 million left and they're saved... Well they'll have repaid their debt at least... Before interest

Depending on how much the purchasers are giving to THQ.

It's more money than they had this morning.

I hope they release how much of the money is going to THQ... I guarantee it's not as much as we think. The default split is 65% to THQ though which amuses me.

Seriously sucks THQ needs to do this. They produce awesome games. Relic is one of my favorite studios.

Even 65% gives them around $1,000,000 more than they would have had yesterday with games that most people don't buy too often except Saint's Row 3.

Darksiders, Red Faction, Company of Heroes, and Metro are all fairly cheap games now.

The last bundle that had Torchlight as the only big game sold over $2M worth of bundles. I'm sure this bundle can hit $5M total with around $3M going to THQ - if not double that. $2M in less than one day is pretty crazy. Again from games that THQ mostly wouldnt sell anymore (Darksiders was being given away for free with Darksiders 2 when released).

I'm sure THQ could put together another bundle like this with older games and quickly start to turn things around for the near future. Yeah it sucks only making like $1 per game, but at the same time if you can make $5M quick dollars, it's definitely going to help out considering you probably wouldn't have sold half that for those games at full price.

My interest in Saints Row 3 was very small, but I figured for $10 along with grabbing the other two Company of Heroes I don't have, and getting Red Faction for PC where I have part 1 and 2 (even though I owned it for PS3) was enough to make me dive in.

Saints Row 3 usually does pretty well when it goes on sale on Steam. Its actually a pretty good game.

BTW THQ stock is up about 38% ... 41 cents, it's now worth $1.49.

Up to 2.1 million with 12 days left.

But the average purchase went down over night from 5.72 to 5.70

Does Steam get their usual cut of revenue when the games are sold outside it like this, but still giving out Steam keys?

What position? To be frank, the Montreal Studio is in good shape from what I can tell.

If you already paid above the average, they've added Titan Quest and Red Faction DLC. Just have to activate the key.

You can get it and register it on steam. Then when you get a pc or upgrade your current pc, these games are sitting there waiting.

Also, depending on what kind of on-board you have you might be able to run Titan Quest and Company of Heroes without a decent card anyway. The others would be trouble but you can save them for later as Dave said.

Redeem it on steam and play it when you like.

For example, I let Portal 2 sit on my PC for a while before I played it, because I was finishing some other games.

While it is a good pack if you have nothing better; and ~$6 us a great price, I would guess once someone has a PC that can run those games there are much more interesting games to play.

Portal 2 is a different level than any of these average games.

It is a nice way to build a collection but these games are far from the first games I would be buying if I went from unable to run modern games to able to run modern games.

All that said, $6 is really nothing, even if you never play any of them for more than a few minutes, I guess who cares.
