Great trade lol. Maybe Arnaud could fetch something then.
It would make us look bad if we discarded him. Just keep him as a sub this season. Remember he was fairly important the first half of last season before we had a solid Felipe, Bernier, Di Vaio etc
Why would it make us look bad? It is a business. The guy costs too much for what he brings to the team. I love his hustle and heart, but getting rid of Arnaud frees up a lot of cap space and gives us room for improvement. Sure, he would help us tremendously as a sub, but for 250k, it is overpayment.

Maybe to be traded later. With a lower salary he could have a good value, worst case we keep him for a lot less.
As a sub if don't cost to much he could e useful.
This. I don't like Mapp at 200k+, but I wouldn't mind him at around 100k. He doesn't have stamina, but he can create things. Use him correctly and he can help the team. Sure, I'd like us to have better option, but Mapp at a lesser contract isn't necessarly a bad thing.
I want Arnaud gone because he makes too much, if he can restructure and come off the bench/start occasionally for around 100k, I'd welcome him back also.
The problem with these two is that we are paying them - and playing them - too much for what they can really bring to the team. With reduced salary and a lesser role, I would keep them. Having experience players as part of your depth AND in your locker room is a great thing, especially for a team as new as ours. Sure, we have guys like Nesta, Bernier and Di Vaio, but they don't know the league as Arnaud and Mapp do. Cut their salaries and their role and nobody will complain about them, we'll even like them. A good coach that knows how to utilize such players would make them very useful... in small doses.
