Not a signing, but Logan Couture just announced his time with Geneva-Servette in Switzerland is done.

Yes.

Regular season = League Champions (Seriemester)
Playoffs = Norwegian Champions (Norgesmester)

Some updates from the National League A (swiss league)

- Logan Couture returned home for personal reasons. But it seems he didn't come along with coach Chris McSorley.
- Tyler Ennis and Jared Spurgeon returned home too. Both are injured and will recover at home. Their team does't expect they will return to Langnau.
- Chances that Crosby will play for Bern are (according to their GM) at 0.001%. They don't have the money. Zurich and Lugano are still the most likely teams. Both have billionaire owners.
- Geneva is in talks with Pat Brisson about Crosby. Chris McSorley wants to bid on Crosby...
- According to the media and coaching staff, Jason Spezza is homesick. I think he'll return to Canada after the Spengler Cup.

HIFK and Stephane Robidas have decided not to continue his "month-by-month" contract after November and Robidas has already flown back to NA.

Robidas played 15 games and scored 5 points; 2+3 -11.

yep, 2y with verbal out clause which is not legally binding. Why not? He is RFA in NHL, he can sign multiyear deal in KHL.

Well it's a massive blow for the Avalanche nevertheless what happened for Russian clubs in the past.

O'Reilly will be back with the Avs when the season resumes. He's not going to skip out on his team simply because of a KHL contract.

Yeah, to get back to have long negotiations about a new contract and potentially lose the whole season. Such a great opportunity, how could he miss it, I wonder? Stupid kid.

If the season resumes, he'll be back. Not difficult to understand and I'm sure you would see it as the logical scenario.

It's not like he's got such a great opportunity in the KHL either.

It's said he won't get back this season. And I trust Metallurg's official statement more, than some fans' hopes. More so when it looks totally understandable from player's point of view as well. And as to KHL, they pay money. Right away. Unlike NHL. Perhaps for you money is nothing, but I bet the kid thinks otherwise.

Of course you trust the KHL more, you're in Russia and probably a KHL fan. I'm an NHL fan, I trust the player to not put himself in a position to jeopardize his ability to help his team win games. That means not signing a contract without a clear out if games resume.

O'Reilly isn't maliciously trying to hurt his team, he just wants to stay fit, play with his brother and earn some money honestly while the season looks to be lost. But come hell or high water, he'll be back if Colorado needs him.

The KHL doesn't offer him more than a steady-ish (if you believe the rumors) paycheck and some hockey, he will be back where he belongs when the time comes. That's all I've been saying and I'm sorry if you didn't realize that.

I dont want to take your optimism, but Ryan does not have team in NHL NOW. That is a reason why he is without NHL contract, why he is RFA.

2 year is rather peculiar, as usually contracts are 1 year aren't they? However good on him to get some games. Hopefully radar plays well there

Aren't lockout contracts in the KHL only allowed to be one year (or the rest of the year)? This is an actual KHL deal, so he won't get out of it once the lockout ends.

Pretty obvious he has some kind of NHL clause in the contract.
