Excellent, love loaded power pens, everything Theo does, I would do. It's rare and so much fun when that happens as a fan. I'm not thinking about one, I'm thinking one for the thumb, the man is a god damn genius.
Yankees looking into Hamilton's past in case his price drops, which is very possible since the Rangers have made it known they'd rather bring in Upton instead of re-upping Hamilton.

I wonder how much his price would drop...
Me too. If 4 years / 100M gets it done, that's a steal.

4 years is really pushing it. Would rather give him a few more bucks a year, in exchange for a 3 year deal. Maybe something like 3/75 with some incentives.

To expand on this, they would have to be PLAYOFF based incentives. Don't care if he hits 40+ bombs if we barely win 75 games. Could bring in Adam Dunn to do that.

He wouldn't come here if it was completely playoff based. For 3YR/75M, I think you'd have to give him bonuses like 2M for each MVP, 500K for each top 5 finish in MVP, 500K for each allstar game, 500K for each playoff appearance, 200K for each playoff series MVP.

Well, what you just described is pretty much playoff based.
Doubt he'd have a legit shot at MVP without at least having us in the playoff race. A Hamilton-Rizzo-Soriano-Starlin core lineup would be a damn good lineup.

**** him, I have no interest in him. He'll be 30 before the year is over, and wants a 100M contract. Too much for a guy who has ZERO power, and relies on speed.

Yeah, after thinking about it, MVP was the only one I could think of that wouldn't affect his play. That's why I made that the biggest one. If you gave him bonuses for homers, it could affect his approach so we wouldn't want that.
Looks a lot like Greinke will end up in Texas. Hamilton would have a good shot at going to Seattle then. Unless the Yanks move Granderson, Bourn would be floating around without any real prospects.
