Helmet to helmet initiated by offense player could be penalty/fine

This has been a big thing in the last week by one radio host here and now the NFL is talking about doing something about it and it's about time. You see all these weak helmet to helmet calls on defense but offensive players can get away with lowering their heads and using them as battering rams against defensive players.

Any helmet to helmet should be a fine at least.

Agreed. Offensive players have been effectively using their helmets as battering rams for years and getting away scot-free whereas defensive players that do anything of the sort would potentially get suspended.

It goes both ways, if it's bad for the defense to do, it should be bad for the offense to do as well.

Eh, I don't know about this one. I don't think they are the same thing in many regards, although I think it may be applicable in certain cases.

same goes for hands in the face/face masking.
offensive players get away with murder
