Honestly can't stand Rupert. Classless punk, an I'm the one usually trumpeting about supporting all of our prospects. He's nothing but a cheap shot artist, and a goal against from the PK, waiting to happen.

We have better prospects who can drop the gloves. Should've taken Ebert if we were going to throw a pick away.

He plays with zero respect for other players, and takes cheap shots.

He's like a less talented Ryan Hollweg.

The difference with Rupert though, is he will back up his antics. He is willing to drop the gloves and won't cower behind someone.

Finn picks up an assist early .

Kind of OT but the Knights are so dominant my god , Niagara looks like Erie out there.

R Rupert scores now. Empty netter. Knights make it 17 in a row.

Very generous for Ferry to dish it off to Ryan like that. This Knights team is a juggernaut.

Ferry is the definition of a team player.

FYI for those wondering. Rupert did basically nothing on the goal. Ferry gave him a gift on an empty net. Goals a goal though

Devane back in the lineup for his ECHL team and he got in his first scrap of the year. i think he was out for awhile with an injury. Broll also got in a fight with Bilcke the other night and apparently handled him quite easily, haven't seen the fight yet myself

Damn, I think that head injury Leivo suffered a few weeks back must be pretty serious, still out.

There is no such thing as a non-serious head injury in my opinion. Was hoping he would be back by now but he needs to make sure he is 110% before he comes back.

Apparently were ranked around 20th in hfs latest organizational ratings. Seems like a big drop to me from where we were last year

Our defense prospects are probably above average but the lack of potential top 6 forwards in the system is truly alarming.

We're also ranked 20th in the most recent Hockey News - Future Watch edition.

Lol @ 20th, what a joke. We have the best defensive prospect pool in the league behind only Pittsburgh and we have a lot of depth in the system. Yeah, we may not have lots of "blue chips" like the Islanders or Wild but our pool is far from bare, that's for sure.

What I really don't understand is that HF put us at #5 (IIRC) like 2 years back, and then dropped us to 20th in those two years. Our prospect pool has improved leaps and bounds since then so I don't understand this at all.

Sorry, it was actually 6th.

Point still stands.

And even in Spring 2011, we were at 9th.
