I had the most fun with x-com by far. I liked Mass Effect 3, but Mass Effect 2 ruined that series for me because of just how awesome it was.

Its still a great game refined in nearly everway, plus the multiplayer is pretty fun and Leviathan was good DLC.
I didn't have as much issue with the story as most people mainly because I saw it coming.
I could see BL2 but to some extent its just BL with better dialogue, much much more refined gameplay(which isn't easy to do), improved graphics especially on the PC end of things.
If Diablo 3 wins anything besides making a lot of money on paypal award I'll throw my computer off the golden gate bridge.

I dare anyone who has played Walking Dead to argue why it isnt GOTY. Telltale did the impossible IMO, a GOTY caliber episodic game. Not only the GOTY but one of the few games that actually sticks with you long after you completed it.

It's barely a game. Should've just made it one of those choose-your-own-adventure books instead.
Sort of sad seeing something that derives virtually none of its entertainment from game play winning a "game" of the year award.

My favourites for Xbox 360:The Walking Dead, the Game (I absolutely loved it and purchased and played every episode almost on release date) (Nice different game feeling around all these shooter games etc)XCOM Enemy Unknown (Another different game experience in xbox)

Weakest year ever overall.
For a lot of reasons I hope a quality indie game wins goty.
