People underestimate Ottawa Senators prospects. We are the youngest in the league yet we're 4th with 3 games in hand and only 4 points away from 1st.
Funny thing is, we are doing this without our number 1 defender in Cowen who would single-handedly lower our GAA by 1. What an impact he had on this team early on.
We have the strongest depth and best goaltending in the A. That's what's gotten us this far.
Yeah, Cowan wouldn't lower the teams' GAA that much. He's on the ice less than half the game.
As much as other people may be undervaluing the Sens prospects, you're overvaluing them by at least that much.

He still thinks Zibanejad is better than Couturier.
That title belongs to the Heat, sorry. Unless 44 GA in 18 GP is more impressive than 36 GA in 20 GP.
Lehner is a great goalie regardless.
You're taking my words too figuratively. We have the best tandem in the league, hard to argue against that. Arguably the best goalie in the A last year followed by the 2nd best goalie in the A this year.
Lawson allowed 6 games in 1 game against when Lehner was shutting out a team 5-0 before he left.

Lol, I wasn't being serious. My point would be that Cowen would make our defense much more stable reducing the already strong GA average by the B-Sens.
In the 3 games Cowen was playing, we allowed only 5 goals against. Isn't it funny how the game inbetween he missed we allowed 5 goals? Now I know you're right about him playing half the game but he eats up 30 minutes. It allows for stronger depth to be filled the other half rather than the last pairing player more minutes.

Hahahahahaha, is this supposed to be an insult towards my intelligence? If anything, the laugh is on you; already basing the better player after one year of their draft. Also, I said Couturier is better NOW that's because he is more polished while Zibanejad is more raw.
Get your facts right even if you're trying to "insult" someone else, loooooool.
After an 0W-4L start, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins are 12W-3L in their 15 games and 7W-1L in their last 8.
John Hynes and co. have a lot to do with their success. That coaching staff is among the best in the A, IMO. And Zatkoff won goalie of the month, so clearly he has something to do with it as well.

Ah yes zatkoff. Another fine product of the kings goaltending system.
A good season or long winning streak doesn't make a stacked team though. Could just be guys playing above expectations or having a good season.
What I'm saying is, no need to brag Sens fans - none of us were expecting this.
LOL WUT?
You clearly haven't followed the team at all.
We have no one in the top scoring yet we have people playing above expectations? Tell me who is playing above expectations, Silfverberg leads the team with 14 points in 20 games, is it Lehner that's playing above expectations because we know that the playoff MVP of the league 2 years ago can't put up impressive numbers.
This team is less about high end talent and more about depth, we basically have 4 scoring lines that the coach could feel comfortable putting any line against the other team's top line.
Just because you weren't expectingthis ddoesn't mean other people weren't, 2 years ago this club was a championship club, suresome players graduated but this season we finally had our prospects make it pro, and its paying off.
On paper I think this team looks better than the championship one, but it also has 7 rookies and the youngest team.

Speak for yourself. We are not bragging. We are informing the rest of the fanbases of a 9 game winning streak that the youngest team in the A is on. Especially since a lot of us Sens fans knew we were more than capable so we're just reinstating their success as something we expected rather than an incredible hot streak.
Don't forget most/some of this without Cowen, Zibanejad, Petersson and Lehner. Binghamton is stacked with depth.
