I would love to see these become the permanents, with a corresponding white of course, but any way we can work him on there instead of the O?
It's just not the same without Spartacus.
I think the simplicity of the O is what makes the jersey. Adding the cartoon spartan face would defeat the purpose, in my opinion. There's kind of an understated pride with that jersey. Something the spartan along with the current jerseys don't do, and something the senators haven't done since those great original jerseys. The all black with the 2 red stripes on the arms and hem, with the profile of the spartan.
I think Anaheim has a good third jersey, but that is a biased of mine.
These jerseys are way better than their regular home and away jerseys. If I was ever to buy a ducks jerseys it would be this one, if not one of the retro ones obviously.

Besides that, I really like the flames retro alternate, which I also believe should be their full time jersey1, and I was a big fan of vancouvers white alternate, with the V in the stripes on the sleeve.2 Not sure if its still being used though2. LAs purple and gold alternate is really cool too.3
1Agreed. 2I am too, but it's been retired. It was the original 1970 jersey. The blue equivalent has ugly striping though. 3Also retired, though they should have been made LA's full-time uniforms over the black and whites.
I hope to see all these jerseys as primaries one day:

That's just one beautiful triangle of hatred.
I prefer those Canucks jersey's without the v-sleeve, but not a big deal.

Those Oilers jerseys were permanent last season and I am pretty sure they will stay that way.
Them aside, off the top of my head... Calgary, San Jose and Vancouver.
