Curious as to why anyone would hate Roman Hamrlik. Didn't he say that he wanted to sign any deal already and get back on the ice? Why would I hate a player who wants a new CBA ASAP?

Meh I wont judge these guys based on sticking up for their PA.

I really dislike that there hasn't been more Ryan Miller's and Ron Hainsey's who want to be active and promote getting a deal done.

The players can say they wanted to all they want but they clearly did not by their offers up until the last few weeks.

I'm completely disgusted with the players.

I cheer for the logo on the front, not the name on the back.

They can bring in the scabs for all I care, you bet your ass I'll be paying good money cheering for my team.

Toews, Cole, Upshall, Couture, Brouwer...there are probably many more but those are the guys who make me cringe everytime I hear what they have to say. Not only do they sound greedy, but they come off looking uneducated and frankly, stupid.

Good point. Emotions seem to be running so high some people are just lashing out for the sake of doing so. Personally, I don't have a problem with anybody on either side for speaking their mind.

Can you update me on what Couture said? I'm trying to look through his twitter but there are too many posts.

Prust, Upshall, Neal. Neal's twitter post joke about telling trick or treaters maybe next year he can afford bigger candy bars rubbed me the wrong way. It was right up there with the can't feed my dog comment from Modano last lockout. That was Modano I think right? Maybe Neal's wasn't quite as bad, but I wasn't laughing.

What was Cole saying? I don't like him at all either but I can't find anything other than his being angry at Hamrlik and I agree with Hamrlik being angry at Fehr so in that I can see him ruffling some feathers.

Yeah the only one i've seen directly from him was saying that he backed Fehr, but that seemed like more of a "no comment" to get people off his back than anything else.

Krys Barch

Scottie Upshall certainly made me glad that Columbus didn't re-sign him. The CBJ players across the board have kept quiet, which I am appreciative for. Upshall tweeting like a braying donkey would have disrupted that.

Barch though...the guy wouldn't have a job if there were a 29-team league, but he feels qualified to talk about how many teams there should be and where they should be located. The guy couldn't score if he were thrown into a vat of Jello with an entire sorority, which somehow makes him qualified to ***** about the possibility of having to actually work for a living once he hits 35.

I've gained a ton of respect for Roman Hamrilik during this lockout. His one quote about Fehr was ballsy.

I dug further and I saw him retweet one of Biznasty's post about the 50/50 split. Supporting Biznasty is pretty bad.

Shawn Horcoff. As if he really suffered because of the last CBA.

No kidding. It's horrible watching players with bad contracts complain about the league's existing salaries. It makes you wonder what they actually think they're worth. Hah, Horcoff for more than 5 mil?

A few of the players' quotes I couldn't find. Do you guys look on twitter? If so, maybe that is why since I don't have one and don't really look on it much but I did catch Brouwer, Barch and Horcoff's comments and I agree that they sound so stupid. I mean who the hell is Horcoff with his salary to be complaining of all people?

The players are in no way asking for more. They want to keep what they have. Pay attention.

Prust, Upshall, Horcoff, Cole, Couture, Ian White, Bissonnette - but to be honest I thought he was a complete meathead before the lockout antics
