Personally I think DougGilmour93's best offer is pretty close(but not quite) to what I expect a deal to be(I think it was Kadri, protected 1st, and two other pieces I can't recall).
The value is likely close to the middle ground that's been achieved a few times between fans of opposite teams.

Since a 1st and _good_ prospect is all I have ever expected for Luongo, this would fit depending on what else is in the package to compensate for Kadri being boom/bust. It would also give insight as to why it was rejected, and why DG93 continues to insist that he has the right of it.

Why do Vancouver fans think that Luongo is the only answer Toronto has? I'll tell ya. You recognize that the Leafs could be in the market for a goalie and you're all trying to talk up Luongo even though you all know you're screwed cause your stuck with him and his stupid contract. Go ahead, keep him. I give it a year, than you'll all be calling for both his head and MG's head. Luongo will become your scapegoat and MG, you'll curse his name for offer such a monumental mistake.
True you could always trade for Pavlec if Winnipeg would like Luongo.
Kadri, Finn, Frattin, Bozak is still too much from the Leafs side, at least for me (I think most Leaf fans would agree). Giving up two 1st round talents in Kadri and Finn.

Leafs themselves have an out. We can deal him as he doesn't have a NTC until the last year of his deal. We'll be laughing as we'll be able to get a kings ransom for him.
Plus we can always just upgrade our net with one of the other 50 plus goalies in the league. Luongo isn't the only one.
Your right the Leafs currently have a "Burke out clause".

As a Leaf fan that first is the most protected piece for me. You do mention it is protected though, which would lighten the blow
Would do that deal in a second. I am a bit hesitant with the idea of trading Frattin, but it wouldn't be a deal breaker in my book.

Kadri I see as expendable considering our current depth at the wings (Kessel, Lupul, JVR, Kulemin, Mac, potential emergence of Frattin) and Luongo is far more valuable to the team right now than Kadri. Colborne is tough to lose, but his spot was essentially locked up by Grabovski, and hopefully one day we get that first line centre. Looking at our team, it doesn't scream win now, but we need to start winning soon as many of our top players are just entering their prime, Luongo does that for us.

Would you swap out the 2nd to Blacker? I would like Finn more, but I respect he is kind of the new toy on Christmas Day right now and is hard to part with. Putting up nice numbers. Looking a lot better than our second round pick last year lol.

Percy and a 2nd when we were talking Finn and Frattin last page, even if it was one sided...we'd need more value. Finn beats Percy for value, and a second I'm less excited about than Frattin, even the objective value is similar.

Expendable doesn't mean you give up more in a trade than you should.
I'm not head-over-heels in love with Kadri either but I know his talent level is extremely high and his value is too much to include him in a deal with Joe Colborne, Tyler Bozak and a high pick for Luongo.
