signed

Blake Parlett D to a 1 year contract to play as my 5th dman with Diaz/Hillen/Kindl. He seems pretty good overall defensemen
Stuart Percy D to a 1 year two way contract. Still 21. 3 star potential hopefully he jumps next year.
Trevor Cann G to a 1 year 1.3 million dollar contract to back-up Fleury. Has potential and at 79 overall
Rafael Diaz. D signed a 2 way contract will be my 6/7/8 dman
Matt Marquardt LW signed him for depth when injuries come along. his strengths are shooting and skating
Mikael Samuelsson RW brought this old man back for depth and signed to a two way contract

Is there any significance at all to the two-way contract now?

Does it matter for offseason cap space?

It used to be used a stand-in for wavier exemption, but a) they fixed that, and b) waivers are off anyway, right?

Honestly I'm not sure however I'm going to do things fair. If people are being stupid than we should implement the waivers back. Or do it on hf boards or something. It would suck if a guy asked for a two way contract and I offer that but someone else offers him a one way and leaves him in the minors. I'd be pissed

I said this in Sitwell to the Anaheim GM, if you're going to blow up your team, why did you pick that team? Doesn't make any sense.
Maybe it's because I like the actual team? Sure I love the players on it and the only trade I kind of regret making now is the Neal trade, but other than that i'm happy with what I've done.

Listening to offers on Dman Carlo Colaiacovo. He is a very well rounded defensemen with 86 speed, good offence and good defence! He played on my top pairing last year when Jackman got injured long term and did a really good job finishing with 30points and a +31 rating.

Im looking for a forward that has good speed in return or perhaps a forward prospect.

PM me if anyone is interested in this top 4 Dman!

Anton Volchenkov is available and I'll give him to you for a bag of peanuts. He's an 82 overall defensive D-man with great body checking skills.

Chris Phillips is available for a slightly higher price. I'd like a draft pick of some kind in return. Maybe a prospect or a bottom 6 forward.

Listening to offers on Patrik Elias (82) and Nik Antrapov (81) as well. I aint askin for much

Trade is APPROVED. Buffalo cannot trade until next season, Los Angeles is allowed one more trade.
Wait I thought we made it a rule that if we didn't use one of our trades by the deadline that we could use it for the draft.. Unless I am remembering that discussion wrong.. but shouldnt this count for last seasons trade if I didnt trade at the deadline?

Plekanec, Weber and a 1st or 2nd up for grabs.

Hoping to get an upgrade on OFD and a lesser RW for Tomas.

@Eklund69
Devils shopping several veteran players, one confirmed to be Anton Volchenkov.

@Eklund 69
Source says Devils are in deep trade talks with Detroit Red Wings and at least 2 other teams. Potential deal coming shortly. e65
